The party rushes to the blacksmith's house. They enter and see the rats gaining on the them.
They can close the door and lock it but it seems Draup and Maria have fallen behind in the party. Will you wait for them and risk getting overrun by rats or will you lock the door and leave them to their fate? Or maybe there is some other plan you can come up with that saves everyone?
Does Chives use it to light two bottles on fire? (Assuming Joben is given one since you need to throw two simultaneously if you hope to distract the rats).
Chives says "Do you expect it to light on fire when I touch it?" It lights on fire when she touches it. Confused and surprised, she does it again on another one.

William tosses the bottle and it hits the rats behind Maria. The loud noise in front of their face followed by a spread of fire and 4 rats burning to death deterred the rest from following. Joben's aim was not as good. The burning bottle flies over Draup and the rats and crashes to the ground. Draup is still being chased.
Decision time. Do you close the door and leave Draup to his fate or do you let the rats come with him and risk getting overrun? There is very limited time. No, there isn't enough time for another volley of molotovs.
“We can’t leave him to die!” William proclaims, shield at the ready as he prepares to meet the onslaught of rats that will presumably enter along with Draup.
Chives' broom begins to grow thorns, transforming into a shillelagh.
"Run, Draup, run!"

Draup finally reaches the blacksmith's and so do the army. Rat's are about to come in like water. You can try and fight them (roll initiative if you wish to do that) but there's like a sea of the them. What do you do and how do you do it?
Single story building. There is a door that can be closed. There is a backward but you're not there right now. Yes, there is a door that can be closed.
The villagers quickly try and grab whatever weapon they can find.
Chives pouts. "You rats really aren't very nice, you know that?" She prepares to fight, unless another option appears.

As Draup nears the door, William casts Armor of Agathys on himself and prepares to push it shut right after Draup enters, trying to prevent as many rats from entering as possibly. “Everyone get ready to push the door closed! The less rats that get in, the less we have to fight!”
William, if you want to push the door shut, you don't have time for Armor of Agathys. This is because when you try to push the door shut, you notice two things: A Giant Rat is charging the door like a battering ram from a distance that is closing shortly and the door at first closes without issue but a rat gets caught in it and prevents it to close completely.
I need everyone trying to push it to give me a Athletics check. One person also needs to quickly put the bar down to secure the door. That person needs to give a straight DEX check.

William pulls out a Molotov... "uhhh, can anyone light this thing?"
OOC: anyone have any magical fire or a tinderbox? I guess I've never had to worry about not having a tinderbox before.... Lol
If you're going to light it, you'll need to hurry. The rats are gaining.
So... how are you guys going to light the molotov? And if you can't what are you going to do?
OOC: Looks like Chives has Druidcraft. That can light things on fire.
Does Chives use it to light two bottles on fire? (Assuming Joben is given one since you need to throw two simultaneously if you hope to distract the rats).
(It's alright. Nothing happened in two days really. Waiting to see if Chives uses her druidcraft or not)

(It's fine. Life happens)
Alright, since you need to throw two bottles at around the same time to stop the rats, I'm assuming Joben is given a Molotov as well.
William and Joben make an improvised ranged attack VS DC10. Beware of nat1s, they will hurt.
