Ordan shrugs. "Follow the road for a couple miles and take a left into the woods at the first signpost you find. You'll find six men in the camp, provided the second patrol hasn't returned by that time. After you deal with the men in the camp, follow the path south, deeper into the woods. The path will end at a cave guarded by an old ogre." He laughs. "You won't get much trouble from that one. Inside the cave are the spoils." He bows as low as his constraints will allow. "Anything else you would like to know? "
Ordan chuckles. "Good luck. You'll find The Scorpion won't go down without a fight." It is now that you notice that his right hand is withered and shrunken.
"None whose names be known do." Elber nods and heads back around the cart to make sure that the other captives, including the dead one, are securely tied together.
"Do all the men fight like you did here? Mostly hiding in the wood?" Duncan will ask, adding "And what of your leader." cracking his knuckles "what can I look forward to when facing him?"
Ordan blinks. "What can I say, we play to our advantages. As for The Scorpion, you'll find out soon enough why he's got a 700 gold piece bounty on his head. "
Duncan will respond to the Bandit's response by even more forcefully pressing the butt of the glaive into his sternum "I'd rather you tell me now."
((We're in no rush... so it would be good to take them back. Or at least not take them with us. But. By doing that we give them warning that some of their men have not returned. Perhaps we could just walk them a couple hundred meters into the wood and tie them up where they wont be found?))
Jack will come and wave over Landrae and Duncan (the main interrogators at this point) and make a suggestion before heading back to my hiding spot. You should sperate them. Tell them individually we will tie them up and gag them but come back for them when we are done. The one to give us the most accurate intel will be set free along with the coin we found on them when we return. The one that gives us the worst will be executed. The other two will be taken to town to answer for their crimes. It would greatly benefit them to give us the best info so that we are able to come back for them. If we are killed by a surprise they forgot to mention they will starve tied to a tree.”
((Duncan only woke the Captain. The others should still all be knocked out; though tied up. It's only likely been a few minutes since we started the questioning, so I don't think they would have awoken yet. Hell... the captain might/should currently think he's the only one alive.))
((No, only one bandir was dead, we recovered the others to the cart and bound them there. Jack's plan to corroborate the info seems good, but I would prefer if we could paraphrase it and just get JJ to roll some dice for what we get, will take a long time to interrogate each one. I also agree that taking them to town may cost us surprise, and the validity of the information we have, but we are running a huge risk if we just tie them up. Any one escaping threatens our movements.))
"They are 5 men down if we cart these back to town, perhaps Jack has the right of it, and thinking their number further would make our lives easier..." Landrae wanders to Ordan, stroking his cheek, "This one's been a good boy so far, but I'll wager he has the most trouble to cause if not properly dealt with. You might want to tell us what the patrols schedule is, when you were due to return, and what will happen when you don't."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
While Jack, Duncan and Landrae discuss plans, Elber finishes his knots and then asks Kai to make certain that there's no wiggle room for the captives but also not suffocatingly tight. Getting a nod of approval he will hoist them up on the cart and return to the others. "Those captives be trussed up like ducks, so they will not be a threat. As it be several hours back to town, but only a few miles up to their camp I suggest we head on. "
Ordan smiles. "I've given you all the information you need to know. And if we're not back by sundown, the boss will get suspicious. If I were you I'd get a move on."
As she is so close, Landrae takes careful note of the man's features and sound of his voice, should she need to pretend to be him at any point in the future.
Turning back to the others, whilst patting Ordan's cheek a little sharper than would be considered friendly "Who's taking care of him then? If we'd best get a move on, then there's no time to spare with niceties..."
((Hopefully one of the stronger men in the group will knock him out, it would be embarrassing for Landrae to try and fail. After that, are we all in agreement to the split them up, strip anything useful from them, gag, bind, and then move forwards? I'm open to just hiding the cart here and proceeding by foot, or taking it a little way onwards / all the way.))
((Since it seems no more information will be available to us at all regardless...))
Duncan will slam the butt of his glaive into the side of the man's head and start tying everyone up to a tree a hundred or so meters from the road. He'll then head with the group up the road.

Watching the last of the captives hidden off the main road, and then clearing up the road as best she can, Landrae gets up into the cart and flicks the reigns, impressed that the mule pulling it remained unscathed through the conflict. "Catch a ride if you want boys. I think we can get by without scouts for a mile or so, then we can range out on foot and I'll park this up by the signpost Ordan noted."
"The truth be always the better option, better than being seen leading us to your friends."

Elber nods gratefully. "Thank you, brother. I hope your crimes be worthy of less than a death sentence once we return to town."
