"Thank you for the potion, Brother Greystone. We were fortunate to not to be heavily wounded in this battle."
Harukai puts his back to a wall and keeps watch with Nephrius. He answers, "We have found signs that he and Sildar were brought here. If they are still here, I know not. We can but look for them."

"Thank you" Nil will lean down to the wolf and cast speak with animals "Do you know if these men brought anyone here?"
Ripper is startled by the sudden comprehension of common speak. He has learned Klarg’s commands, but now completely understands the bard. It takes a couple of tries before he can make the words “yes, they brought a little man and larger man here”
OOC: ok I received word from Koren. Due to work issues she may not be able to continue in the campaign. I said I would leave her in the campaign for a bit just in case she is able to continue. If she doesn’t come back soon do we want to ask for another player or continue with 4?
Ripper leads the group down the path to the northwest and across the swinging bridge. Ripper squats low and goes toward the archway leading to a new room. In a low coice he says, “the large man is in there. The small man has already been taken away somewhere”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

(OOC: I'm indifferent to whatever the party decides. Down for a new player to join, down to continue with 4. In fact, I'm down to play both Koren and Jackson if need be. Work load is at a minimum for the holidays.)
Seeing the wolf squat low, Jackson copies, holding his shield in front of him. He looks at Nil and nods in the direction of the new room, saying, "Is the wolf saying they're this way?" He'll take a few steps forward, just enough to get a peek at what's inside the new room, but not enough to reveal himself. Perception: 15

OOC: I am also okay either way. If we get a new person, a somewhat regular posting frequency would be nice.
Walking in the middle of the marching order, Harukai holds the torch so the humans can see. He watches and listens carefully to see if he can detect any enemies or perhaps imprisoned allies up ahead.
"Of course wouldn't want you fighting at partial strength" Nil pulls out his rapier and dagger getting within 30 feet before waiting for one the ranged to shoot
OOC: Lol questions before we start the surprise round -- how FAR away is Sildar, and how far is he from the rest of the goblins? And yeah I'll play Koren for this battle.

OOC. I’m happy either way up to the DM we still have a party of 4 with a good variety of cover so it’s not an unbalanced team.
Nephrius replies to Harukai “It is unfortunate we find us looking for them, hope they are still well.”
Nephrius will continue at the back of the group away from the wolf.

Jackson peeks into the cave and sees 6 goblins. 5 by a firepit and 1 further away. Sildar is tied up in the corner and has been beaten severely.
Ripper says “lone goblin is Yeemik, he in charge when Klarg away. He likes to kick me when Klarg is not looking. I will enjoy chewing on his bones.”

Harukai prepares as well. If his torch is the only light, he will continue to carry it. If not, he will set it down and prepare his quarterstaff.

The fire pit in the room is giving off some light. Any closer with the torch and the govlins will see you and begin a regular initiative round
