If Nilparin starts using his honeyed words to gain us an advantage, Harukai will wait to see what happens.  Otherwise, he will leap into action while they are only armed with mugs of ale (see spoiler below)...

Two of these redbrands are those at the cell. They recognize you. “Hey, you are supposed to be with the prisoners.” He notices the glass staff Harukai is carrying and begins reaching for his weapon. Harukai strikes quickly with three rapid blows, knocking the first bandit unconcious as the other two reach their shortswords. 

Harukai: 6

Nil: 21

Jackson: 21

Redbrands: 20

Nil rushes in with his rapier hitting the redbrand nearest to him before pulling out his horn and giving Jackson a bardic inspiration 1d6

Rapier: To hit 15 Damage 5

The second redbrand takes a deep slash across this torso from Nil’s rapier. 

GREYSTONE

Jackson moves into the room wielding Talon with both hands and moves to strike the Redbrand that's currently engaged by Nil (thanks for the inspiration, btw).

Attack: 8 Slashing Damage: 9

(Assuming that Redbrand goes down, Jackson moves to strike at the other remaining Redbrand, adding his bardic inspiration die to the attack roll if necessary 5. Otherwise, he'll direct his second strike at the same Redbrand.)

War Priest Attack: 17 Slashing Damage: 8

(Also, I'm assuming we each got a share from the 150 gp that was found in the previous room?)

(Also, sorry about the banner. Opted to add the bardic inspiration die only after I had posted.)

Jackson swings Talon and connects with his first strike on the redbrand that Nil had damaged, cutting a new wound into his upper shoulder. His follow up strike swings wide and misses.

The two redbrands make their attacks.

Redbrand 1 against Jackson (two strikes with multiattack)

1st strike - Attack: 24 Damage: 6

2nd strike - Attack: 14 Damage: 7

Redbrand 2 against Harukai (two strikes with multiattack)

1st strike - Attack: 6 Damage: 3

2nd strike - Attack: 16 Damage: 5

Seeing Jackson take two massive strikes and go down, Harukai pivots over and flanks the eerily accurate bandit with Nilparin, unleashing his own combination attack with a spinning staff to the back to the knee and a rabbit punch to the kidney.

Quarterstaff with Advantage: Attack: 18 Damage: 4

Punch with Advantage: Attack: 17 Damage: 4

GREYSTONE

"FOR THE LOVE OF TYR!" Jackson exclaims before shortly falling unconscious.

Death Save1 : 13

Jackson falls unconscious from the strikes and Harukai retaliates. His rapid attacks knock the redbrand who attacked Jackson to the ground hard and he is knocked unconscious as well. Back to the top of the round, Jackson to make a death saving throw and Nil to take his action. One bandit remaining.

OOC: Sorry I had a good roll there.

Nil speaks out in elvish casting healing word on  Jackson "Azae Ebrath"  before attacking the last redbrand with his rapier

Rapier: To hit 5 Damage 10

Healing Word: 6

Speaking his healing word toward Jackson, Nil strikes at the final redbrand, but swings wide and misses. Jackson's eyes flash open and he takes in a sharp breath before starting to couch for a moment.

OOC:  So, is Jackson next, up with 4 hp?

Yes Jackson is up next with 4 HP

GREYSTONE

Back in the fight, Jackson immediately gets back to his feet, bears Talon with two hands, and moves to flank the remaining Redbrand.

Attack: 11 Slashing Damage: 11

War Priest Attack: 24 Slashing Damage: 11

(Advantage has failed me thrice now. Never flanking again.)

The last redbrand will focus his shortsword attacks against Harukai as he has been the most accurate attacker and the biggest threat.

1st attack - Attack: 22 Damage: 6

2nd attack - Attack: 24 Damage: 8

His first swing connects, but his follow up strike misses.

Nil once again attacks the last one this time following up with his dagger

Rapier: To hit 12 Damage 9

Dagger: To hit 19 Damage 4

Harukai smiles at Jackson's return to the fight, then winces in pain as the bandit turns on him, slicing a deep gash in his left thigh.  Maneuvering to flank with Jackson (since Nil doesn't seem to be taking advantage of the flank), Harukai fakes with his staff, then strikes quickly with a flying double kick!

First kick with flank:  Attack: 18 Damage: 7

Second kick with flank:  Attack: 18 Damage: 7

OOC:  The dice have turned on me!
