Barkeeper: " I know that most of her goods was sold to Amnon Art. He is the one that owns most of trade contracts here in Callidyr. Fancy and rich person, that one..."
Jenneleth:" You are not from here, I see. The Moonwells are gifts from the Eartmother. If one drinks its water, it can cure wounds. On nights of full moon, it can even cure poisons or disease. We really do not know what caused the corruption...and as you can see I am trying to understand how to restore it from ancient knowledge. May I ask where are you from?"
"Well that m'lady is a rather long story..." Stormbringer smiles broadly at her. "But, the short version is that I was born in The Icewind Dale, and then for various reasons I was given to the Temple of Auril in Luskan at a young age. I was raised there, more or less. However, due to differing opinions on a host of subjects such as conduct, ideology, and theology I was banished from the Temple of Auril in Luskan. After that I spent some time on the road and was in and out of a few different temples, Talos, Lathander, Silvanus, Tyr, and even Umberlee. But ultimately none of them were really a good fit for me, and I knew I was likely to be on my own. So I became an itinerant cleric of sorts, and eventually wound up in Baldur's Gate, where my friends and I received the call from the High King of the Ffolk, Derid Kendrick. Naturally that brought us here to Alaron, and despite being shipwrecked and waylaid by goblins we managed to make it to Caer Callidyr. And that my beautiful elven maiden, pretty much brings us here to the present." Enog gives her a wide smile. "Tell me of the Earthmother, why did she give these Moonwells to the Ffolk?"
Jenneleth:" Thank you for sharing your story, Sir... The Earthmother is Nature itself, Moonwells are just s manifestation of her. The Wells are very ancient, I think not even the eldest of the elves can say how or why the Moonwells are here."
"Come now there must be some legend about why they are here or what the Earthmother did to create them or something. During my time with the priests of Silvanus they always had legends and tales of why this was this way or what something did to cause this thing, etc. etc." He gives her his best eager pupil face as he try to persuade her to tell him more.
Jennelth:" Sorry, I don't know more. Probably the elder druids in Myrloch's Vale know the origin of Moonwells. But getting to Gwynneth right now is as easy as getting to Evermeet..."
[Gwynneth is another island, southwest of Alarond.]
Jenneleth:" Evermeet exists in the Material Plane as well. But it is a challenging journey regardless. King Kendrick sent some ships to ask the aid from the elves, but they never returned..."
Enog looks thoughtful as he listens to Jenneleth. He nods, though still seemingly lost in thought. "This is starting to add up to a rather interesting whole..." Stormbringer muses as he rubs his chin. "First we were shipwrecked off the coast of Alaron, Then we rescued a pair of children who had been kidnaped by some sort of nautical cultists after the adults had been slain by worgs and goblins. There was some sort of large white hand print at the scene of the slaughter, though to be honest I'm not sure how that's connected." A puzzled frown darkens his face for a moment, then he unslings his pack and pulls out a strange object. "But I took this from the cultists." Enog holds up the bizarre compass. "It doesn't point north and I've a hunch it may lead the way to some dread place or worse." He turns the compass over in his large hands before offering it to her to inspect. "Perhaps you can identify it, I haven't been able to." Stormbringer furrows his brow at this, then watches as she takes the compass from him. "We've also confronted Sahuagin on several occasions now on our way here to Caer Callidyr..." He trails off. "And now another report of ships not returning... It's like an itch I can't reach or a word that eludes ones mind and tongue... These things feel related to me, though I can't seem to piece together how..." Enog muses as he paces back and forth in front of the druid.

OOG Great summary!!!
Jenneleth:" A dreadful tale indeed. But I find hope in thinking that amongst all this madness, someone survived shipwreck and got to Callidyr. Maybe not all is lost."The, Jenneleth proceeds to examinate the weird compass." It is weird, but I never seen anything like this. Has always been poiting at east? "
"I'm not certain... As far as I can tell it always seems to point towards the Sea of Swords. But the odd thing is that one of the cultists said they were taking the children to a lake beyond the Fairheight Mountains to make them 'servants of the sea'..." Enog suddenly seems to remember something "Durring my time with the priests of Umberlee, I once heard a tale about some giant tentacled beast... they called it..." Enog's face screws up as he searches his memory. "the slarrkressel maybe... It was some old immensely powerful beast who was a consort of Umberlee but also he was at the head of some sect or cult or something..." Enog trails off trying to remember more. He shakes his head. "I dunno, maybe it's nothing..." He shrugs. "Can you cast any identification spells? Maybe that can help us figure out what this thing is."
OOG Oh man you did your homework, didn't you? ;-). Nice, very nice, you have Inspiration!
Jenneleth:" Make children 'servants of the sea??' Such cult must be guided by pure evil and must not be allowed to spread!. That is a terrible news, my friend! Make sure you report did this to King Kendrick himself!".Jenneleth seem really preoccupied and terrfied." For the indentification spell, I am not a pratictioner of arcane magic, sorry. But keep the compass with you. I have a feeling that it is important."
"The followers of Umberlee are truly capable of some terrible things, but don't worry Jenneleth, Umberlee herself is an imposter and her followers have perverted the the true nature of the Tempest. They will not prevail!" Enog's passion is plain as he quickly gets worked up at this topic. He takes the compass and stows it agin in his pack. He looks back into Jenneleth's face, and he softens, "Please m'lady do not allow fear to wilt your fair features, we will get to the bottom of this. I am certain." He takes her hand gently in his, "I do have some other matters to attend to this day, but please my fair elven maiden, tell me how can I be of assistance to you before the morrow's council with High King Kendrick?"
Jenneleth: " Your presence in the city is already of assistance, Master Enog. Do not worry, together with the High King we will decide the best course of action to restore peace in the Moonshae Isles. May the Earthmother bless you."
Stormbringer bows a courtly bow her hand still in his. He looks up into her eyes and kisses her hand softly. "And may She guide your steps and grant you many an abundant spring M'lady. I look forward to our meeting tomorrow, but I'm afraid I must ask your leave for this evening." He rises and smiles warmly at her. "Farewell Jenneleth" the half orc says before turning to leave her grove and make his way back into the city and to the temple.
ooc: Which god is this temple to? (most tempest gods are actually evil deities. Which is a part of why Enog is on his own path.)
The Storm Temple is dedicated to a divine entity they call the Storm Father (no other names or titles are given). The Temple is circular with a big hole through the ceiling. On the floor, there is a moat, which they say it is filled with water directly from the ocean. Several rooms are located around the perimeter. It seems that the affluence of people here is quite high.

Barkeeper: " Mmm, yeah it is captain Filchbatter's ship. I haven't seen her for weeks..."
Krisnen nods, "How about any of her Crew, any of them come through here?"
" Not that I recall...no"
"Have you seen her doing business with anyone in specific?" Krisnen puts a few more silver coins down on the bar.
Barkeeper: " I know that most of her goods was sold to Amnon Art. He is the one that owns most of trade contracts here in Callidyr. Fancy and rich person, that one..."
Krisnen nods once more, "Thank you" Krisnen takes his leave from the keep and sits back down at his table to await the arrival of the others.

"Why would getting to Gwynneth be as difficult as going to the Feywild?" Enog asks with a puzzled expression.
Jenneleth: " Evermeet exists in the Material Plane as well. But it is a challenging journey regardless. King Kendrick sent some ships to ask the aid from the elves, but they never returned..."
