OOC: Oh no, I believe you made the right call for the skill check by the rules. I was just commenting that when you think about skilled laborers, they work there entire lives at a trade and they get good at it, but that doesn't mean they can "Pull together a disguise to pass as a city guard". But by these rules, someone who is a good craftsman (has a high intelligence by the rules) would be just as capable doing that as they would crafting a new sword or Axe (save them having smiths tools over disguise kit proficiency).
OOG Ah yeah I understand. Well I would say if one wants to give a check to make a good quality item, I would probably go for STR + proficieny bonus in smith's tools.
After thanking Vondal, Stormbringer took his leave of his fellows and then made his way first to see the druid, to enquire of her about these moon pools. thinking to himself that he could easily go to visit the temple on his way back to the inn, since they were both near the docks. He tries to put the thoughts aside of the quarrel which ultimately caused him to leave the Temple of Auril in the north and roam south to Baldur's Gate, but try as he might he arrives at the druids grove still lost in his memories.
I would like to ask around the camp and see what kind of life they have been living since the plague has gone though.
If asked about their current situation, any person in the refugee camp says that they are either from nearby villages pillaged by the orcs or citizen of Callidyr escaped from the north section infected by the plague. Since then, they lived in poor condition out there, but King Kendrick always made sure they had what they needed. However, they fear the orcs can attack again any time.

At the druid groove, you easily spot Jennelth, a female wood elf, studying and focusing on several books. She has a wooden table and some chairs in the open. Nearby you can see a natural pool, roughly 20 feet in diameter, which has started to show a sinister greenish colour. After several minutes, Jenneleth becomes aware of your presence:" Oh Good Morning. Sir..Have come here to seek help?"
Krisnen nods at the equipment's quality, "It appears your equipment here is sufficient to get a job done, what do you know of the problems that plague Caer Callidyr?" Krisnen turns to face Adrik, regarding him with respect as a fellow smith.
Adrik:" Not much. It came just after an attack of the orcs. The water of the Well would have been enough to cure it but it seems contaminated. So they say, never well understood this Well thing. So..are interested in something here?"
"Good morning to you M'Lady," the half Orc says with a warm and charming smile. "I do not come seeking help but perhaps rather seeking to be of help. I am Enog Stormbringer Cleric of The True Tempest." He bows, and as he rises again he continues, "I am come from Master Vondal, My comrades and I are here in Caer Callidyr answering the summons of High King Derid Kendrick. And though our Audience with him is not until the morrow, but we've taken it upon ourselves to do a bit of research about the dire situation that you all find yourselves in." He gives the wood elf a wink. "So that we may better apply our prowesses to your aid."
Jenneleth:" Oh most kind of you to trying to help. Most of here are not so well disposed. I am Jenneleth, druid of this groove. You have to meet with the High King Kendrick? Me too, I suppose we will see each other tomorrow. The situation here is quite dire. The Moonwell seems corrupted and it has been this way for the past three weeks now. I was preparing an expedition to the Dernall Forest, learning how to heal it, but then the orcs attacked Callidyr. Then the plague came. This wouldn't be much of a problem, if the Moonwell were still blessed by the Earthmother, but it is not. Maybe you and your group could help me in this regard...trying to go to the Dernall Forest. But we must confer with the High King first. The forest is quite dangerous these days..." Jenneleth is quite stressed about the situation, you can read it on her face, but you see a spark of hope in her eyes...

"The Well cures plagues?" Krisnen says, astonished at the idea.
Adrik:" Yeah.."Adrik answers almost as the answer is quite obvious, but then recalls that Krisnen is a foreign: " Oh you are not from here, aren't you? Yeah the Well has some curative properties, at least in some measure... I don't know much, but now the Well is useless...contaminated or something..."

The half-orc listens intently as Jenneleth speaks. "Danger we can handle fair elf," he says with a confident and charming grin, "but tell me more of this Moonwell. What does it do? How is it blessed by the Earthmother? Why was the blessing removed? How can it be restored?"
Jenneleth:" You are not from here, I see. The Moonwells are gifts from the Eartmother. If one drinks its water, it can cure wounds. On nights of full moon, it can even cure poisons or disease. We really do not know what caused the corruption...and as you can see I am trying to understand how to restore it from ancient knowledge. May I ask where are you from?"
"Hmmm" Krisnen pondered for a second, "You mentioned Orc's attacking, do you know which way they attacked from?"
Krisnen looked out a shop window towards the mountains, "Adrik, you have been much help. Thank you." Krisnen takes one last glance at the Axes hanging on a nearby wall, he nods to Adrik, and then excuses himself. He heads for the Inn where the group had mentioned they would meet up. Once there he finds a seat in a less rowdy part of the tavern and orders an Ale. He pulls the Captains Logbook out of his pack and begins to read it while he waits for his companions.

The captain's logbook is a meticulous account of all the captain's transactions as a merchant but is also a collections of reports about the ship known asThe Smiling Dolphin. The captain has noted how gold started to flowing back in Mintarn during the last year, her base of operations, thanks to many trade contracts with Baldur's Gate and Caer Callidyr. Strangely and suddenly, one month ago, things started to go tragically again. Many ships never returned from their travels to the Sword Coast and the Moonshae Isles. There have been stories about great storms and attacks from sea-devils!
The captain notes end at the date 27th Kythorn 1491 DR.
Krisnen finishes his ale and closes the logbook, storing it away in his pack. He then heads up to the Barkeep. "Keep, Have you heard of the ship The Smiling Dolphin?" Krisnen pulls a few silver from his belt pouch and sets them down on the counter.

Long days and pleasant rolls to everyone.
