Sim fires off some that spider silk, grabbing a hold of Abigail and having her trail behind one of the goblins, flopping in the wind. Yaalin grabs Diadochi, dragging him with all of her spider might. It works, mostly. Dragging and dodging around goblin feet.
One of the Goblins does notice one spider dragging the other towards a crevice. It tilts it's head, before saying something in Goblin. Seemingly impossibly large hand reaching down and scooping up both Yaalin and Diadochi. Placing them into it's pocket, gently. Seeming to know there's something about these spiders that may have freed them.
The goblins, with the group, head down into the tunnels. Hours later, Diadochi and Abigail wake up. Being carried and bound to the small hide clothing of the goblins that are busy scurrying through the tunnels. It's probably the better part of a day that you travel with them. Uncomfortable, not restful travel. Being woken up every few hours as they continue to move. Being knocked around, and sometimes even knocked back out from being tossed in a pocket.
There's a moment you feel the sun. The sky. The sounds of being outside. Then, a slamof cold air. It catching your spider bodies and sending you all flying. One of the goblins tries to jump up and catch you, but to no avail. The wind coming too strong. Too suddenly. Even for you to react. You're tossed in the air before being knocked out from colliding into the rocks and picked back up again from the winds.
....You don't know how long time passed....
But you wake up. Wet. Clothing, armor, gear all soaked in ice water. It's early evening. The sun beginning to set. You're somewhere on the Widowpeaks. But you're out of the cave and the last thing you remember were the Goblins rushing off. Having exited the tunnels away from the ruined city of Hope. Outside some bruises and soreness, you seem to be ok.
(All: CON Save v DC 13, or gain 1 level of exhaustion from apparently sleeping in freezing water)
Despite the soreness. You do feel... fine. Cuts injuries scabbed over. Burns healing. Injuries on the mend. Looking up and around, you think you're on the other side of the crest that Hope and the Cave are on. Maybe a good half a day's climb and hike.

Con Save 17
Sim gets up and begins seeking out a good camp site for everyone to get dry and gets some true rest. Being one who is not exhausted he will take first watch.
Yaalin shifts herself from the water perfectly at home in the cold and wet but recognizing that the others aren't, she begins to busy herself by whatever dry land she can find lighting a fire and hanging blankets to dry out ((using the drying blankets to shield some of the firelight)), trying to coax Abigail as close to the fire as she can get to warm and dry her. preparing food and refilling water skins unsure what the night and following days will bring.
Survival 18
once something of a camp has been arranged she will find a spot to begin meditating on her recent failures and relishing in her being able to see the world above once more...
Yaalin makes a solid little camp. Finding some extra logs and bits to start up a fire through the night. There's unfortunately not a lot of food around the area. Or at least nothing that falls to a few traps at this hour. Still, you all have plenty of rations to go between you all.
Yaalin, during your meditation, you feel.... peace. A soft warm breeze billowing off the water every few moments. Syncing up with your heatbeat. Just for a minute. Akin to how mothers on the reef regulate their clutches. Finding those little pockets that have some warmth and some cold to get a good batch of mixed new tortles for the world.
Diadochi checks on the white-hawk eggs (make a Handle Animal check) through the night, noting that at least one of the eggs is no longer developing. Probably from the combat and the fireball you all took back in the cave a few days ago.
Night watches come and go. The world above bright on the clear night. Stars aligning through the swirl of colors that slowly mix. Sometimes the world above is a violent clash of colors and patterns. Tonight has more of a slow moving tide. A washing back and forth.
The Sun Rises in the morning. Breaking over the mountains and releasing the chill of the mountain nights. (Those who were exhausted can remove that single point of exhaustion since you all long rested). After a bit of a lazier morning, you pack up your tent. The wind is still a bitter cold, but more of the ice and snow from the long winter has begun to thaw. You all still don't know exactly where you are on the mountain. But... by best guess... half a day climb back up to the crest. Maybe the remainder of the day to get back to Hope. It would be a few days to head to the Hn'ti village, or a few days back to the town of Rest down the mountain. Neither are on a direct path to each other. The Cave, where you buried Yeth, you think is also a few days away, sort of a midpoint between Rest and the Hn'ti village. But... even Sim isn't entirely sure. Something about the memory of that place being a bit... hazy.
You don't know where the goblin's went off to. But you do know that dozens escaped. Kids. Children. Families. Warriors. Men and Women. A few may still be up in the cave, or at least died fighting the Hn'ti to give others time to escape.
It's a new day, and the day is yours.

Diadochi looks over the eggs "hmmmm. This might not be the best environment to bring up these birds" 18
He addresses the group "right, so the way I see it we made a pact to help these goblins so our first priority should be to find and help them. 2nd we need to find Shale and make sure he can never open the mountain again (probably will involve some degree of murder) and then we find our way off this mountain and call it a loss as far the silver apple is concerned."

You do not believe that any of the eggs have survived the trails of being inside your backpack. But... they're not broken. You could cook them up later and have a pretty tasty meal.
Sim - you know that tracking is going to be difficult. The gust of wind blew you away from the goblins, leaving you knocked out for a bit. Maybe a day. Maybe longer.
With the hard stone of the mountain, it'll be difficult to track. Especially if they have a day or two head start. Luckily, it was a large group. They shouldn't be moving too fast. You think you might be able to pick up their trail if you head back to where you last saw them. (DC 20 Survival check; takes 2 days).
Finding Shale will be impossible. You lost sight of him days ago in the cave. If you find some goblins, or a clan, you may be able to ask a few of them if they've seen him. (No roll available or this)
Sim gets everyone up after enough rest and asks “Where to? We could just leave this mountain or we could try to find the goblins and through them find Shale. He is still my major concern.”

Sim and Lafetha begin to lead the group. Heading around the mountain, trying to get back where you last saw the goblins. The first day is a bit rough, but nothing too alarming. It's the middle of the second day when you come across a broken ice field.
What could be used as a land bridge probably days ago is now just weak enough to cause a problem. Tapping on the ice with some force shatters the area you struck. You think you could go around, but it would add days to your journey and whatever trail could be there would get more difficult t track.
What do you do?
(Skill Challenge: DC 13. Either use STR / Athletics, or DEX / Acrobatics to get across. Need more success than failures. If failure, 1d4+1 characters begin to fall into and under the ice)
Sim sees the ice field and motions for the others to take their time and spread out some so as to not weaken the ice in one spot so much. Then he begins to move forward across the ice.
The group helps one another. Grabbing hands and sliding when need be as the ice sheet creaks and cracks from the weight of the party. But, eventually, you all manage across. Continuing on your journey for another hour, you do come across the last known location of the goblins. Sim and Lafetha look around, trying to find some clue as to where they may have gone; but the hard stone of the mountain leaves little trace of the troupe. After about a hour of looking around, the combination of time, weather, and just the environment you're in proves futile.
"Well, this has been fun." Abigail growls as the cold continues to irritate her otherwise 'pleasant' demeanor. "No Shale, no apple, and little else to show for our efforts. If we return empty handed, we will likely be black listed from future Blackmire employment. If we continue our search for Shale, we could end up lost and dead on the side of a mountain. I enjoy neither option. "
She pauses a moment.
"However, of the two, I think finding Shale makes the most sense. Perhaps we can get him to tell us more about the magic needed to open the barrier; and if not, at least we can bring his head back into town for some gold."
