Round 5 (End): Diadochi and the Goblin continue their monologuing sword fight. Yaalin comes up from behind and cracks it’s head wide from behind, a gush of blood coming forth. Abigail gets ready in case anyone else rushes in before talking to the Barkeep. Sim steps outside, tries to jump and climb up onto the roof. But it doesn’t go well. Wiggling his feet as he tries to climb up but falls flat on to his ass, before getting back up.
Round 6 (Begin)The lone Goblin’s eyes go wild; pupils going wide as it turns in a blinding rage. Bringing its sword arm wide and trying to slash at Yaalin:
Attack: 7 Damage: 3
After it’s swing; it disengages Yaalin, seeming to pay Diadochi no mind at all as it makes a break for it. But, Diadochi finally lands a killing blow against the Goblin’s head. It falling down with a crushed skull.
The Barkeep, looking between everyone, is a little out of his depth. Between seeing folks bleeding on his floor; combining with a rather large amount of Goblin blood, he can only sigh. His focus is broken by Abigail. “The runes? I honestly don’t know. I already thought it was for luck and fortune. Like, why the mines are always warm and has clean water..”

Getting up Sim grumbles to himself about how silly he must have just looked. Taking time to be careful he climbs up onto the roof and surveys the area looking for any other dangers that may be in the area or approaching.

From the vantage point of the rooftop, you can get a better lay of the land. Off to the side, down some streets between a few houses, is Yaalin and Diadochi. Or at least some shadows in the smoke that look like them.
While you don't see any goblins on the rooftops, the sounds of fighting are continuing. But, there are more shouts of people issuing orders to put out the fire. The combat seeming to be turning in the favor of the town.
Off ahead of you, you definitely hear something. Clanking and goblin voices, but it's too far to actually understand what they're saying over the rest of the commotion. However, it's pitch black in that area, most likely by the statue. You'd be blinded unless you, or someone, carried a torch or a light source with you.
Diadochi will look at Yaalin, "seems a bit morbid but the mayor did promise us, coin for every goblin head," Diadochi picks up the Goblin and adds it to his inventory, "these buggers are more slippery than I'd like to admit, is recommend meeting up with the others, but of course it's your call, old bean."
Seeing what is going on around the town Sim calls the information down to the party members in the Tavern. "We must venture toward that dark area and we will need to find a way to deal with the darkness."
Hearing the sounds of battle dissipating further into the distance, Abigail heads out of the inn to collect as many goblin heads as possible.
((Does not matter if someone else killed them, she is still going to get as many as possible. Unless someone else in our party has also started picking them up, there are four that she knows of...))
'hmmmm lets get near the others, that around of tires needs to be looked at friend. And, I suspect those things were after something though I don't know what. Maybe the others can give us more information.'
Yaalin begins walking towards the inn. Keeping an eye out for the others, but prepped for combat should it come to it.
'I am supposing you didn't understand anything they were saying? No? Ah well we'll know soon enough'
Didochi and Yaalin return to the courtyard; seeing Sim on the roof keeping an eye out and Abigail with several goblin heads tied stuffed in her travel sack.
Abigail looks fairly bad, a large slice from a blade has left her rather bloody and injured. Inside the Blood Raven, from the windows, you can see some of the villagers, two laying dead with others merely scratched and bruised.
From the darkness that the statue is, a small spark lights up the area faintly. Then, something streaks into the air before exploding in a shower of bright orange. A firework. Or a brief moment it lights up the courtyard. Enabling everyone to see four goblins and a wolf by the statue. One of the goblins appearing more menacing than others you’ve faced tonight; another holding a staff, while two regular ones shuffle about.
(Anyone with a range weapon or spell with a range of 100 ft can make a singular attack right now as the sky is lit up)
The light won’t last and soon the courtyard will return to total darkness. The sounds of a goblin cheer ring through the town while townspeople begin to shout that the goblins are retreating.
Seeing the gash across Abigails back I cast cure wounds for 4 on her.
'That's the last I can do for a bit friends, but I don't think this is over.' I point at the group by the statue. 'Either we go after them now our we track them down later but I cannot let them have those stones.'
And unless some one stops me I'll bring my shield up once more and begin heading to the statue.
((I cannot let the desecration of religious icons go in front of me without responding somehow))

Standing on the roof and seeing the firework light up the area Sim immediately draws his bow and aims at the one with a staff. (It seems like it would know what to do with the tunes if they get them so his goal is to remove their resource.)

The Goblin seems spooked for a moment, quickly saying something as a shield of force extends out, knocking the arrow from flight. It looks over in the direction of Sim, pointing with a outstretched hand before the area goes dark once again.

DIadochi, Yaalin, and Abigail are all just outside of the Blood Raven.
Sim is on the roof of the Blood Raven
Lafetha is inside the Blood Raven.
The Blood Raven is roughly 100 feet away from the Statue of Jeshur, where the Goblins are.
You only have 30ish feet of light, another 30ish feet of dim light beyond that. A 40 foot circle of darkness (non-magical) around the statue due to it being night and smoke from the fires. Those without dark vision, or a light source, will be blinded
(Please roll initiative and then your actions. We'll stick to a static initiative order. You can shoot into the darkness, but, rolls are at disadvantage due to blindness)

Abigail lets out a purr as she feels her wound closing. When she turns around to thank Yaalin, she finds him already moving in the direction of the statue.
"Great!" she exclaims in a disheartened tone, "Back into the fight."
