Sim sighs as he sees the Hn’ti woman back in her battle form and draws his bow placing an arrow dipped in the poison he recovered earlier then pulls the arrow back at the ready. Aims and fires.

Noticing the Hn'ti woman, Abigail asks, "Isn't that the Hn'ti that gave you guys so much trouble before?"
Initiative: 4
If the Hn'ti warrior is outside of range on Abigail's turn:
"As I recall, she was not the only one in her party..." Abigail looks around at the houses and debris in the area and attempts to Stealth (20), hoping to ambush the rest of her group when the inevitably show up in the next few seconds.
If the Hn'ti warrior is within range on Abigail's turn:
Main Hand Short Sword - Attack: 18 Damage: 8
Off Hand Short Sword - Attack: 22 Damage: 5
--- If, for some reasons, this happens to be the final blow on her, it is non-lethal --
"See, that was not so hard was it?" Abigail comments of the unconscious Hn'ti woman at her feet.
Summary: Sim pops out from his hidden position, taking a shot at the Hn’ti warrior (11). She, originally moving to charge at Diadochi, pivots and moves over to Sim, slashing at him with her claws (11). Lafetha, still hidden, takes a moment to listen as the sounds of battle ring out. There’s something else fairly nearby, but it’s hard to pinpoint where. Abigail slashes at the warrior twice, only one connecting (7). Yaalin Pulls out the wand, originally going to try and trap the Hn’ti in a disadvantageous spot. But with her being too fast and moving to engage too quickly, puts up a web on the passage that easily leads further into town Incase she tried to flee. Diadochi steps up to move and attack, but the Hn’ti warrior parry’s the attack away harmlessly. (Prepared Reaction)
Setup: The injured Hn’ti warrior, Abigail, Sim, and Diadochi are all engaged in combat. A web spell has been cast on the easiest escape route for the Hn’ti warrior. (DC 15 DEX Save to move through, or become restrained). Yaalin is a few feet away, while Lafetha is still hidden (advantage on attack rolls). The Hn’ti warrior is focusing on Sim, giving Abigail and Diadochi advantage. (If restrained, turns to regular attack due to advantage / disadvantage)
Abigail, Hn’ti Warrior, Diadochi, Sim: DEX Save DC 15, or be [status]Restrained[/status] due to Web
Sim: DC 11 CON save, or lose Hunter’s Mark. Disadvantage to range attacks if shooting at your target in a melee. (You can drop the bow and take out a sword, or if not restrained, move back 10 feet but it could provoke a attack of opportunity.)
Edits: Clarification from Yaalin on where the web goes.
Yaalin turns away from the conflict between herself and the web. A small ball of aquamarine light glowing in her hand, hold action Guiding Bolt on any third party that intereferes. ((aka. if we get ambushed from the side etc))
Diadochi Looks at Abigail "She's open, push the advantage!" Using Commanders Strike Abigail gets to attack again and if she hits add 7 damage. then he uses Action surge to hit the Hn'Ti warrior Attack: 15 Damage: 5
Reaction if she comes after me again I'll use Unsettling Visage. Just a momentary change similar to hers but enough to make her be off kilter at me changing like a Hn'ti. Then I'll be back to normal.
The Hn'ti warrior ignores Diadochi's taunts, but still makes three attacks. One on Sim, one on Abigail, and a third passive swipe on Diadochi.
(Sim) Claw Attack: 9 Damage: 7
(Abigail) Claw Attack: 9 Damage: 6
(Diadochi) Claw Attack: 6 Damage: 7
Round 2 (End)
Summary: Sim, having been slashed a few times, drops his bow and takes out his sword. But the blade gets stuck for a second in the scabbard, causing the actual attack to miss as his effort is spent just getting the blade out. The Hn'ti warrior turns and takes a slash at the three surrounding her. Both the strikes on Abigail and Diadochi seem more careless, while her silvered claws do move to Sim's throat. For a moment, Sim's face changes, before reverting back. The Hn'ti woman seems to flinch in surprise, causing the attack to get pulled back and for her to fight more defensively. Abigail swings with both her blades, striking twice (18). Diadochi tells Abigail to strike again, but her strike goes wide (original roll was a 12, and not at +10? Not sure what happened on that edit) - then with a surge of his own, strikes the warrior with his hammer (5). Yaalin forms a guiding bolt in her hand, waiting for whatever else may be out there, but nothing has shown just yet. Lafetha continues to listen (action skipped), but once Sim's face changes, hears something from behind a pile of rubble.
Setup: Sim, Diadochi, and Abigail are all fighting the shifted Hn'ti warrior. She's still standing, but her knees are beginning to buckle under her own injures. Her attention is shifting over to Abigail, after being sliced pretty badly; her back opened from twin blades. (Advantage Sim, Diadochi). Yaalin is a few feet away, a guiding bolt still in her hand. Lafetha is hidden, but just heard something that was hiding behind a pile of rubble about 10 feet away from the skirmish. Everyone in 30 feet that can see Sim, just saw Sim's face change rapidly and suddenly, before returning to his normal face.
Summary: Sim, having just caused the Hn'ti warrior to flinch, drives his sword straight through her heart. She takes a step back, coughing. And collapsing just as quickly. The light fading from her eyes as she reverts back to her normal self. Now simply wearing a pair of silvered gauntlets.
You all stand there for a moment, breathing a bit heavier than normal. The air is simply too thin to catch your breath, making combat a high risk for exhaustion. You're still in the first third of the town. Some sounds coming in the distance as it's clear a fight broke out. A few whistles and shouts echoing down the corridors and over the rooftops.
Looking at her comrades, Abigail doubts that hiding will do them much good... and running back down the mountain does not help them either...
"We should probably make haste if we want to reach the stairs before we are over come with Hn'ti."
She pauses a moment before continuing, "Also, this might be a bad time to bring it up... But the Hn'ti are not the only ones in this town. There is something much bigger and meaner that the Hn'ti fear running things in this town."
Diadochi takes the silver gauntlets, and anything else useful from the Hn'ti warrior, and then puts it in his inventory "sorry old girl, I tried to warn you." He looks to his team "right, according to Intel, further hostiles are in the area, nature andanumber of which is not known. Abigail take to the shadows as scout, flank if we need you. I'll lead, Lafetha and Sim for this on you're dek ((that last word is in loxodonian)) between me and Yaalin. Yaalin you take up the rear, if anyone tries to come up behind us blast them with the wand so we can shift ranks.
Diadochi will move towards the status looking for danger, but he doesn't look behind him because he knows his team is following his sage advice and will see any dangers coming from the rear perception18

Yaalin nods with the confidence in Diadochi's voice. Motions the others before her before offering what equates to fist bump to Diadochi as they head out. the matching rings on their fingers begin glowing softly as the Warding Bond takes effect.

ISim nods as Diadochi leads the way. He keeps his arrow at the ready. “Yaalin I know the wand only has so many charges but we may want to consider webbing off different areas as we go to block streets others may come from. Maybe even the bottom of the stairs. With luck they may think there is a giant cave spider loose.”
While they walk Sim will also keep alert using his investigation10 to look for clues about what this other threat we might be facing as we go.
The group continues forward. Lafetha coming out of hiding as she rejoins the group. They get into a formation; Diadochi in the front, Yaalin in the rear. Sim and Lafetha in the middle, with Abigail off on the side. The group moves slowly, as to make sure Abigail can sneak up as she darts from spot to spot. Trying her best to stay in the shadows, and out of line of sight of the different Hn’ti that are around.
Yaalin, keeping a lookout at the rear, keeps seeing... something. Staying always just around a corner you see a large mountain lion. It peeking around corners, and waiting for your group to continue moving on. Sim, while you walk, something seems off. Scuff marks on the ground. Bits of cloth. You’ve missing something. But before you can gather more Diadochi halts the team. You’ve come across the town square. Over on the left, there’s a route to a sturdy house missing a roof. There’s a lone Hn’ti standing guard infront of the door. But without any good windows, you can’t make out what’s inside. From what Abigail’s report of the town earlier - this could be the smoke signal. Across the main square, a group of Hn’ti warriors are all talking. They don’t seem to have spotted you just yet. To busy talking and discussing between each other.
Up on a roof, at the far end of the town square, is a lone Hn’ti. Ritual scars across it’s body, but there are few more carved into it. (INT / Arcana check to know more). Diadochi darts his head back behind the building with the rest of you.
