Working his way through the streets of the town Sim hears the goblins say they are on a job. That is odd as Goblins generally only look out for themselves. Seeing the one with a bow on the roof Sim decides he needs to be dealt with first.
Diadochi looks at Yaalin, torn. He promised to be Yaalin's body guard but he just made a big deal about being a good example and there was eye contact. Diadochi tells himself that the goblins can't hurt Yaalin if Diadochi murders them as quickly as possible.

The Goblins take shake off their swords and daggers, diving into combat against whoever engages them, or attacks the character that's physically the biggest.

Goblin A slashes with it's blade:
Attack: 9 Damage: 5
Goblin B charges into the melee, attacking either a second opponent (or whoever is the biggest)
Attack: 6 Damage: 4
Goblin C, the Archer, pulls knocks a arrow and fires at whoever Goblin A is fighting
Watching the others react to the golblins Yaalin puts herself between the goblins and any children still on the street. Raising her shield and prepping a dodge action against any attacks made though will abandon this stance to defend innocents around her.
The Round: Diadochi and the First Goblin rush in towards one another. While the Goblin begins to wind up for a slash across his trunk, Diadochi's warhammer strikes the small creature across it's face, sending it plummeting to the ground; knocked out but still alive. The second Goblin clashes it's rusty blade with Abigail's, but is unable to get out of the way from her second blade coming around and impaling it in the side. It lets out a screech as the other blade sinks into it's side. The archer takes a shot at Diadochi, but it goes wide and lands into the wall behind him. Both Sim and Lafetha shoot into the smoke, causing the Goblin to duck but not landing any hits from what they can see.
Goblin A: Out cold
Goblin B: Takes another slash with it's blade at Abigail, before scampering off down between two buildings. (Bonus Action: Disengage. Moves 30 feet away down a ally).

Attack: 21 Damage: 8
Archer Goblin: Takes a quick look around, seeing the fire come from two separate targets. It takes aim over at Sim, drawing another arrow and firing back at him.

((Emzad & Elitist, I think we're going to try a variant rule of initiative every round. It'll make things a bit crazy, but, combat should be! Least for now. Also means that posts may happen out of order. So be careful when seeing that someone attacked you with damage. It may not technically happen, depending on how all the initiative rolls go.))
Abigail Initiative for Round 2: 16
Yaalin Initiative for Round 2: 18
ROUND 2: Abigail sees the second, injured Goblin beginning to make a move. But before the Goblin can even begin to turn it's foot, her cat like reflexes bring her short sword across it's chest and face, a quick spray of blood letting into the air as the creature falls down, dead. The Archer Goblin let's an arrow fly, striking Sim deep in the chest (5 Damage). Sim tries to return a arrow back at the archer, but the pain makes the arrow fly wide again. Sim glances down, and notices the arrow fall out of his chest, the bright light of Lafetha's druidic magic healing him and the injury (6 healing, so back to full). Diadochi and Yaalin move over to the second goblin, but it's already dead by the point they get there from Abigail's blade. Yaalin rummages around it's pockets quickly, finding some torn paper ruined with the fresh blood, and 3 copper pieces.
Goblin A: Knocked out
Goblin B: Dead
Goblin C: The archer knocks another arrow, but notices someone rummaging around his companion. It turns it's attention to Yaalin, firing a arrow in her direction, before dashing off the rooftop and hopping down into a allyway.

Abigail's heart pounds with adrenaline as she cuts through the goblin, but she hardy waits for the body to hit the ground before dashing toward the house supporting the final goblin.

If lower than the goblin:
Abigail's heart pounds with adrenaline as she cuts through the goblin, but she hardy waits for the body to hit the ground before looking up for the final goblin. No longer seeing it on the roof, she removes her goblin's head from its shoulders.
ROUND 3: The soberish villagers pour out of the tavern with a yell. Having just enough liquid courage to fight off Goblins with pots, pans, and kitchen tools. The Goblin Archer takes aim at Yaalin, releasing his arrow which bounces harmlessly off his tortle shell. It scurries away into the smoke and off of the rooftop. Abigail snarles, and finishes cutting the head off the Goblin she finished. Sim launches a arrow into the smoke, but by the time he releases, the Goblin is gone. The arrow arcing into one of the burning roofs. Lafetha, also aiming for the Archer, steps up and unleashes a whip of vines from her outstretched hang, but it lashes against the same roof before the vine dissipates into the air. While Daidochi begins to try and say something to the mayor, he notices that Yaalin is storming off after the Goblin at speed. Forcing Diadochi to stop mid sentence and head off after him.

Yaalin and Diadochi are now separate from the group, roughly 60 feet ahead but out of direct eyesight of everyone.
The Mayor's voice rings out to all of those in the court-yard. "I need folks to come with me to retake the mine. We've got to make sure that the wells and waterways in there are safe." Some of the villagers cheer, while one group heads off in that direction.
Another small group of villagers look down at the knocked out Goblin. "This one isn't dead yet!" The mob will move and try to stomp the Goblin to death.
Yaalin & Diadochi: As you move down the street and cut through alleyways to where you believe the Goblin should be, you can hear the sounds of combat around you. Multiple sections of the town skirmishing with the raiding Goblins. As you turn, your loud footsteps cause the Goblin to turn and narrow it's eyes at you. It says something in Goblin before pulling out another arrow and knocking it into the air. This time though, firing it straight into the sky.
Abigail, Sim, & Lafetha: You find yourself in the courtyard. The mayor heading off to the mine with a few others. The remaining villagers about to stomp a knocked out Goblin to death. Two of your friends just ran off into the smoky darkness of the streets. Echoing from the stone houses are the sounds of further combat. What do you all do?
