Fangor nods. "Though if you do really want to climb it, you could always ask. I think it's admirable that you want to appreciate nature like that. I'm sure the old tree would get a kick out of it." 

Taylon smile could had illuminated the entire cavern. 

" I will!! of course!! it's important to be polite!" he says "I wouldn't dare to angry such a big and important tree... I guess that he could smash me! " he claps his hands " I wonder if you ever fell something beign smashed, like if you ever had time to think "Oh that's how dogs, no, cats, no, squirrels, no ants... see the world before"you die... but I rather prefer not to know it I guess.. As the discussion dwindles down and the night grows darker you become aware that you need some rest if you want to be able to travel on tomorrow.

Who will take guard rounds and when ? You have 7 hours before sun up.

after spending a few hours hunting and gathering Alex comes back to the cave. "I have three rabbits, 6 good size fish, and some berries, who's going to help clean them?"

[Ooc] Zar will take a good 3 to 4 hour watch, he is used to guard duty so he should be good[ooc]

" Its okay Cairn, I understand." Zar says with a smile having enjoyed cooking for his friends. Despite it all he was happy in this moment.

During the watch he will wash his utensils with one of his hand axes ready to grab and throw should someone approach.

Taylon takes a watch with Alex. 

Shan takes hers with Kaira and she will talk to her asking questions about her Trial now that the others are sleep. She will not give direct answers of hers though.

Brenton comments, "No offense Cairn, but I'd rather travel over land as far as I can before going underground. If the Darkmere takes us the way we need to go, I'd rather that path."

Then to Zar, "No reason to risk exhausting yoursel, Zar. There should be plenty of us that we can pair up and still only require a couple of hours each pairing."

Then, addressing the group, "Those who can see in the dark, should take the midnight watches. Those who see better by light, take the bookend watches. I'll be happy to do a night watch, myself, but could use some company."

(Ooc to pcs, what's our options for magic research? I remember reading a name but I'm having trouble finding it. Not sure how far back it was)

Alex has no problem taking a watch with Taylon. "Hey Taylon, you want a mid watch or mourning?"

"Mid watch is ok Alex " says Taylon happily.

Fangor will take his four hours for reverie and do the rest of the watch.

Brenton asks Elona, "We may need some help close to middle night, would you mind taking a watch with me? The extra pair of eyes, especially elven eyes that see well at night."

He points to the goggles on his head, "And don't worry about me, I can see plenty fine even in the darkest of nights." 

To the group in general, he says, "I've an idea on how to set the watch this evening. Tried taking into account what everyone asked for and tried pooling those who can see at night more clearly towards the middle of the night. Some of us may have to pull an extra shift."

During the hours of Algrenon and Cairn so almost at the end of the night a frightful presence washes over the group. It is fleeting but it comes back after a few minutes. 

At the end of the cave the staff that Elona clutches in her sleep starts to shine, giving off a bleu light that baths the whole cave. It seems to fend off the presence and smooth your anxiety.

Regus has been calm and quiet during the last few hours, Seemingly letting things roll by as he is lost deep in thought. At the mention of standing watch so others can sleep. Sitting watch with Zar, Not wanting to converse. The day had not gone the way Regus had expected it to.

((I was keeping up with the campaign until a week ago when I stopped getting Notifications, I thought it was over so i hadnt bothered to check the thread. My bad! Sorry folks!))
