"I respect your concerns and I will not try to do anything to force you to ignore them for my sake. I do not hold myself in your debt for you saving my life, but I am still thankful for the deed none the less. My love does not come from any guilt or duty, save from the duty that my heart charges me with. Perhaps one day we shall be able to speak plainly about the matters that you think will concern me. I am flattered by you thinking that I am an inspiration to be brave or righteous, but I am a mere human, with all of the weaknesses that humans have. I feel fear the same as you and if you think that I am especially virtuous, remember that during our first visit I was about to indulge myself if not for Sune prodding a guilty conscience. Courage and righteousness do not come from never having fear or being tempted, they come from experiencing the fear and temptation and rising above it. I should probably stop myself before this becomes a sermon. Good night Strife, and may Sune bring you peace as you rest."
(Carrhae is still going to pray for Strife and give her Aid in the morning, because she still loves her and Strife is still squishy)
Right now:
Carrhae smells the odor coming from Daewen and recoils slightly. "Oh my. I didn't know that someone as small as you could produce that foul a stench. Were there extra beans in your ration?" She once again accepts the blessing of Mask as she stealths along.
Stealth:19
Through the blessing of Mask and the less ostentatious colors of her new armor, Carrhae is able to avoid being an impediment to her friends attempt to sneak down the hall.
Going quietly down the hall, there's a door on the left halfway down the hallway. You approach a room with a statue. There are exits you can see leading further in, either north or south.
An alcove in the middle of the west wall holds a ten-foot-tall statue depicting a crude humanoid form composed of earth, boulders, and sharp crystals. One massive, rocky fist is raised above its blunt head. Shattered rubble from an older statue lies heaped around the pedestal on which this figure stands.
"This statue is dedicated to a figure called Ogremoch. I can't really tell you much about him other than he's the Prince of Evil Earth. But that bit is rather obvious considering that he's down here in their temple."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Perfect...Daewen is invisible then.
I just realized there is a door immediately to the south, where Daewen was journeying. She would likely put her head up to the door and see if she can hear anything on the other side (Perception: 22).
Mercy motioned to the others to stay put while she and Daewen scout and slowly, silently moved forward into the northern hall, staying in the shadows. She glanced around the corner to the North.

Mercy looks back at Strife's shuffling feet and points out a better route to get around the corner unseen.

Carrhae examines the statue and the rubble to try and learn more about it and what it is replacing.

Looks like Carrhae's in full dumb blonde mode this morning/afternoon/whatever time it is in the world right now.

The statue depicts Ogrémoch, the Prince of Evil Earth. Other than that, you don't know what it's famous for.
It's probably very early afternoon(?)

Quietly, Daewen slowly walks down the long hallway with the others. Upon entering the new room, she looks up at the statue, and inspects it:

Mercy, there is a door on your right, and a dark hallway going down to your left.

It's quiet.
OOC: are there lights/torches in the tunnels, or is it pitch black?
Fartwen, sticking to the walls, journeys down the southern route just a bit, to see what she can see.
