Strife bestows Bardic Inspiration upon Carrhae and Savra. She tries to stay vigilant for the manticore, alerting Savra to anything she spies, and using Message to keep Carrhae informed.

The Knights have no clue where the manticore is, but Zephyr found it EASILY. It lands in the bottom of the canyon, rears around, and the battle begins!

The nuns taught Carrhae to be honorable, to be pious, to be dutiful. They instilled in her virtues that would make her a servant that the gods would find pleasing and most of the time, she was able to follow those guidelines. But Carrhae was also a human and humans could be petty *****es. As Carrhae flies towards the manticore, she sticks her tongue out towards Savra, not caring whether the woman could see it or not.

Carrhae's attack smashes into the manticore, kicking up dust and rocks as you two close in. A solid hit! 

Mercy is up.

Mercy had struggled to maintain control of the vulture as she loaded her crossbow, but now that the beast was in range, she smiled viciously and cast Guiding Bolt .

The manticore shoots it's tail spikes at Carrhae.

“Nice hit, Carrhae!” Zephyr cheers and waves her imaginary pom-pom’s, then waits for Mercy’s attack that unfortunately missed. Regardless, as they brought out their sword, she says: “You tried, Mercy!”

Zephyr brings themselves close enough to the manticore to take a big ol swing at it with their blade, casting Inflict Wounds at fourth level because **** it and using inspo because with my luck I’ll miss.

Cursing, Mercy tried again.

She then readies herself to use Hellish Rebuke if the damn thing comes after her.

Carrhae swings again, trying to take it down now that victory is at hand.

As the manticore falls, Carrhae cuts its head off and begins flying away with it, flanked by Mercy and Zephyr like they're a clique of popular girls from a movie about highschool. They even flip their hair at the same time. "Come on girls, let's get that ring."

With the death of the manticore, everyone returns to the Spire. Carrhae scoops up the ring like a champion, and the hall erupts in celebration - the festivities continue!!

Mercy let out a wild laugh as the creature fell from the sky. "Now, that was fun. Everyone alright?" She looked at each of her friends in turn as the Feathergale Knights (and Strife) caught up with them. "Car, any of those spikes actually hit you?"
