Zephyrs stomach flew up to his throat once he turned to see Mercy on the ground, her arm severed from her body. Thankfully, Trini was quick on her feet and got to healing the other tiefling, but never the less, the memory would embed itself in the back of his mind. Second one falls, don’t let that happen again!
With tears at the corner of his eyes, Zephyr turns back and points towards whoever the **** was up still and cast Sacred Flame. Dex save 14 or take 6 radiant damage.
Peepee attack on whoever still stands: Attack: 12 Damage: 8

An arrow whizzing past her face brought Mercy back to reality. Picking up Dark Magic and her second dagger, she stood and readied the weapons, turning to face the eastern wall.
The arrows are coming from arrowslits in the east wall. There is a door that you can see on the eastern wall that is closed. Someone must be through the door and behind the wall sniping you all.
Trini whirls around and casts VICIOUS MOCKERY at Hobgoblin2!
”Hey! You look and smell like a pig faced vomit looking freak! What do you think of that, Mr. shit-wearing, basket-face, slipper-wielding, clype-dreep-bachle, gether-uping-blate-maw, bleathering, gomeril, jessie, oaf-looking, scooner, nyaff, plookie, shan, milk-drinking, soy-faced shilpit, mim-moothed, sniveling, worm-eyed, hotten-blaugh, vile-stoochie, cally-breek-tattie?“
WIS save: 19
You’re not sure if it was the enchantment magic, or him straining his brain to comprehend what you just yelled, but that’s it for the last hobgoblin. You can hear the archers reloading.
Realizing the archers are not visible targets, Mercy moved to lean on the West side of the Eastern pillar with a torch on it, calling out “Strife!” Once the bard’s eyes were on her, she touched her temple and cast Thaumaturgy, causing indecipherable whisper sounds to emanate from the bell on Strife’s left horn. She hoped to Mask her fellow Tiefling understood what she was getting at.
Strife moves to a position where she has cover from the archers and casts Message towards Mercy. Do you have a plan to deal with those archers? I have expertise in many things, but battle tactics aren't among them. I'm a lover, not a fighter after all.
Carrhae ushers her comrades into a position where the archers can't fire at them and puts her hand on Mercy's recently re-attached arm and gives her 10 points from Lay on Hands. "Just making sure that it stays put." She says, feeling the slightest bit guilty for not even noticing Mercy when she needed help. Carrhae then places her other hand over her neck and gives herself 15 points from Lay on Hands. Once they're safe, Carrhae whispers to Trini. "You really did a number on that Hobgoblin with your Vicious Mockery. I didn't know that you had that in you."
Mercy smiled her thanks to Carrhae and answered Strife. I have an idea, but it's a bit complex. I'm not sure I can convey the information in this manner, but we have to do this as quietly as we can. The archers in the next room are liable to give chase if we attempt a retreat, so we need to find a way to gain advantage over them here, where we have cover.
Strife used Message to whisper to Mercy. I can hear your thoughts just fine. So, for the next minute, just think over the plan as you envision it and I will then relay that to the others.
Mercy begins by picturing where in the room would be the best places for each member of the team to hide to stage an ambush. She pictures Trini casting Darkness on the wall directly between the center two arrow slits, blinding the archers and forcing them to move into the room to engage the party. She imagines herself attacking the last one to enter the room and blocking that line of retreat as the others surround their quarry, attacking from all sides, hitting them as they attempt to skirt the edges of Trini's Infernal spell. All the while every one of them is positioned to continuously have access to at least half-cover without wasting energy crossing any significant distance.
As Daewen begins to move up to seek cover, she's going to loose a single arrow, aiming directly for one of the slots which she witnessed an archer shooting arrows from, using Inspiration and Bardic Inspiration:
Attack: 13 Damage: 9 + 1 bardic inspiration on the attack roll.
She'll then use the remainder of her action to move to join Mercy on the western side of the eastern column.
Once she joins Mercy, she'll stow her longbow, take out her two rapiers, and then hand her back her sheathed dagger which currently has the darkness spell cast upon it.
Barely missing your arm, you flinch out of the way just in time. Five dark dwarves some running out armed with warpicks, and stop momentarily, looking around for you all. No surprise, cuz they know you're there somewhere - peepin on ya with those peepholes.
Carrhae takes two attacks, trying to end this battle and get her friends out of here. "Everyone get ready to get back up the stairs."
Attack: 28 Damage: 5
Attack: 28 Damage: 9
Carrhae aims towards hobgoblin 1, but if her first attack kills him, she'll attack hobgoblin 2.
And here's an AoO against Hobgoblin 4 if Strife's spell forces it to flee.
Attack: 14 Damage: 10

(Since Mercy’s spending this round staring at the east wall. How many arrow slits are we talking, and where along the wall are they posted?
Perception: 9 )
Four. On the east wall. All before the door on the same wall about 4 feet high from the ground.
