Completely perplexed that anyone would choose to drink such a thing and only half understanding what Ledmo is saying to her, although she’s learned enough from his grins to realise he has made a joke of some sort, Pheara instead goes and collects a few stems from some plants that had not yet been cleared from the camp. Coming back to the group to listen to the conversation she simply sits on the floor amongst everyone before carving the thickest parts of the stems carefully with her small knife. She then holds the stems over her mouth and squeezes them carefully and drinking the water that drips from them and into her open mouth.
"That sounds like quite the concoction. I'm in for tryin' some as long as we're not going to be useless when duty calls again!" Saprys says as he passes over his cup.
Aaravous smiled to himself as he saw, even in the midst of all the killing and war, that life could still be celebrated. Drinking from the wine he had been given, the monk quietly nodded and was sure to introduce himself to everyone, usually with a simple "Hello, I'm Aaravous and who are you?"
"Ledmo Embervein, atcher service..." said the dwarf, doffing his pothelm and bowing slightly, and while he had a braided beard long enough to tuck under his belt, the fiery red hair on his head was short cropped, dark with sweat born from the recent action and the muggy heat of the day. He tucked the helm into the crook of his arm and took a long pull from the brew, before regarding the elf with an appraising emerald eye. "Ya can be callin' me Led." Ledmo then quaffed the rest of his drink and set the cup down. "So, Aaravous, I'll make the assumption tha' yer knowin' wha' we be up against 'ere. I gotta be 'onest, when I arrived, I wasn' 'spectin' t'be tradin' axe blows wit' me campmates. There's work t'be done 'ere, but I jus' wanna git ta the root a' 'ow tha' came t'be, an' 'ow we can stop it from 'appenin' again, iffen fer nutin' else than a bit a' peace when I lay down me 'ead. It's a sorrae lot, when ya can't be trustin' those aroun' ya not t'be knifin' ya in yer sleep." The dwarf sucked noisily at his teeth then for a moment. "I'm of a min' t'git a war party t'gether an' 'unt down these scalies ta git 'em where they sleep 'n return, but traipsin' out across the fens is jus' askin' t'be ambushed. Still, seems a better plan than none 'tall. Jus' 'ope the Cap'n's got somtin' better 'n mind, er someone anyways. I don' got the 'ead fer strategies, jus' axeplay." He finished with a wink and a nod, as he slapped the helm back on his head.
As she listens to the others talk, not making too much sense of most of what they are saying, Pheara suddenly notices a whistling sound. Looking up and around she spots the Elf over by the tree looking at her and motioning for her to join him. Glancing around at the others first she realises that they are very much enjoying whatever the foul smelling liquid they have in their cups is and so she gets up and moves over to the Elf.
Picking a spot in the sun she sits down next to him. Looking at the Elf not sure what is expected of her she simply looks awkward waiting for him to say or do something she looks around at her surroundings. As she does so she notices some of the blood from the giant snake they killed had dried into her shoulder and arms and so she sets about cleaning it off with her tongue, very much in the manner of a cat.
After some brief discussion with Feldri, Hugs, and the yuan-ti prisoner, Captain Greensparrow manages to climb up onto an empty crate near the medical tent. Manon is dismissed to go and hear Greensparrow's message, since she has already assisted with the Bog Flu remedy. As the camp gathers around, Greensparrow clears his throat.
"Friends. Comrades. I know that this is confusing. Our own allies have been turned against us through magical means. There is a group of yuan-ti nearby that has been pitting us against the lizardfolk. The lizardfolk have agreed to a cease-fire, provided that we retrieve their eggs that were stolen by the yuan-ti. Having consulted with my second-in-command, our resident lizardfolk, and one of the yuan-ti we have set on the path to recovery- yes, they can recover, if their… snakeblood crystal?" Greensparrow pauses to glance at the yuan-ti, who nods. "Snakeblood crystal is cracked. We don't know what will happen if it is suddenly removed or shattered, but to be on the safe side, please refrain from doing so. The sudden severance of the imposing psyche may cause enough shock to their system that they may die. But to the point at hand. We have agreed that the best course of action would be an infiltration group to go and investigate the yuan-ti encampment. This group will be made of two units- one to actually infiltrate, and another to draw their attention if need be. We'll be taking around ten to fifteen people for this mission. Any volunteers?"
Bahli let’s out a bellowing shout. “I WIL VOLUNTEER FOR THE DISTRACTON CORP.” Bahli looks up and releases a blast of deafening dragons breath of force.

"Aye, Cap'n. Beats waitin' fer 'em t'be 'ittin' us again, Sir." Ledmo draws his heavy double headed battleaxe off his back, pulls a leather glove off with his teeth and tucks it into his belt. He runs his thick thumb along the edge of the crescent blade, and then starts digging in his pouch for his whetstone. Led gives a look up through his bushy brows toward Greensparrow as he sets to work sharpening the axe with long deliberate strokes. "I'm not one fer slinkin' an' stalkin', though. Leas'wise not 'n these environs. Shadows are wasted on me, Sir, but iffen yer lookin' t'be startin' a ruckus while others be sneakin' an' lurkin', well then, I'm yer dwarf." He gave a grim smile, and then turned his attention back to his weapon.
Standing up from her perch next to the tree Pheara moves over to the main group and listens intently as Captain Greensparrow details his plan. There are a lot of words and so while the others respond she puzzles them over for a few minutes to make sure she gets the proper meaning. Confident that she has it right she speaks up:
"Pheara be ready for Chieftain. What Chieftain ask, Pheara do. Pheara knows...qu...quee....no noise. Pheara smells snake-bloods, stays away."
As she finishes she glances at the others hoping she got it right before looking to the Captain expectantly.
