Raya steps up next to Mulligan and addresses the Redbrand "Listen up, we're tired of playing games. Who else was taken captive, and where are they!?" she'll grab the Redbrand by the shirt with one hand, and her Scimitar poking him in the thigh with the other "don't test us. it's been a long day."
((You are in the old mansion, currently in the cellar))
((You are currently in room 2, with the two remaining Redbrands))
As Raya and Mulligan threaten the man, he begins to stammer in fear. "I told ya - there ain't no others! Only the woman and her two kids. We told them taking them would only cause more trouble, didn't we, Alek?" He looks at his injured friend, who nods in agreement. "Anyone they took woulda been in the cells. And anyways, with Glasstaff gone, we woulda let them go before we left." He looks at the group, clearly afraid.
"Nyaaah....cut 'em loose. But you better keep your nose out of troouble, because I have friends everywhere. And if I have to come back to this backwater place, so help me, I'll write a little ditty about how you were dismembered limb by limb by a llama."
Raya pulls the Redband closer and snaps at him through gritted teeth "I'd recommend finding another occupation." She'll release her grip with a slight shove then step aside for them to pass.
As they leave, a small sliver of purple arcane energy coalesce around her hand as she points to the Redband she previously snapped at and casts message and says "we'll be watching you"
As soon as they realize they are being let go, the two men begin gathering their things and heading out the door, Alek being supported by his friend as he limps along with his injuries. "We'll stay out of trouble - this place has been a nightmare since we arrived," the man babbles as they leave. They stumble out into the room with the cistern and head out the west door, which you now realize leads outside.
Delg trails after them, to make sure they are gone. As he comes back, the door to the north catches his eye again. He motions to it. "Do we chance that he went that way? Unless he left the way those two went, this should be the only way, right?"
Delg motions them to stand next to the steps, out of sightline. Then he grabs the door and flings it open, dodging out of the way in case the wizard is in there.
It is clear from looking at the floor that no one has come through this way in some time. There are faint footprints in the dust, but it is obvious that they were made long ago.
Mulligan - some of the dust gets in your nose and you start sneezing.
Delg and Ajax - despite the thick layer of dust, you notice that down the hallway to the west, about 15 ft from the entry, there is something wrong with the floor. Squinting, you can see what looks like some kind of trap.
The walls of the hallway are decorated with faux columns every ten feet, and the double doors at the west end of the hall are sheathed in copper plate, now green with age. A relief carving of a mournful angel graces the doors.
((I don't think we're in the mansion yet. ))
Mulligan asks, "Where do you take the people?"
Raya steps up next to Mulligan and addresses the Redbrand "Listen up, we're tired of playing games. Who else was taken captive, and where are they!?" she'll grab the Redbrand by the shirt with one hand, and her Scimitar poking him in the thigh with the other "don't test us. it's been a long day."
if needed Intimidation check : 11
I'll help Raya with the intimidation check, if needed, just by taking a menacing step forward and putting my hand on my weapon.

Melkias frowns.

((This should have said east door - my mistake.))

Melkias thinks for a second.
"I believe you are correct, Master Delg. Let us see if we can follow this Glassrod fellow."
He starts to move towards the door, and gestures for someone to lead the way.

Raya will hang towards the back of the group.
Delg motions them to stand next to the steps, out of sightline. Then he grabs the door and flings it open, dodging out of the way in case the wizard is in there.
Delg flings open the door. There is a small hallway, about 10 ft long, and then it opens up into a larger room. Dust covers the flagstone floor.
Any footsteps in the dust? Do we hear anything that sounds like a running wizard?

Delg will go back to the other room, grab one of the smaller barrels, and bring it up. "Reckon this will set it off?"
