Viaya's rapier punctures the zombie directly in the heart. It was already on its last legs anyway. But just as it crumples to the ground, Viaya made another strike right through the eye, just for good measure. Zakon notches another arrow to stop the other zombie flanking Theo. The arrow strikes true, going in one end of the zombie and out the other. It's not quite down yet, but it's struggling with a big gaping hole in its middle. No longer having Ruggero to focus on, the zombie to the south (D9) draws its focus to the next closest threat: Viaya. The creature shambles over just as she pulls her rapier out of the last one.

Zombie Con Save: 16
While the frost coats the skin of the zombie, it still has not fallen, it's life...or rather unlife still hanging on by a thread.

Theo
Theo knows that he is hanging on by a thread but he refuses to leave his friends to these abominations! They seem to have an unholy vigor about them so he turns the one beside him and brings his war hammer down on its head.

Please let me know if there's something I need to fix with flanking. Still new to some of this stuff, so sometimes I forget.
Con Save for C9 Zombie: 15
With the sound of shattering bone, the zombie's head is split into splinters in less than a second. Theo's rage and weariness have given him that extra boost of strength needed to finish off the unholy creature.
Viayagrimaces as the zombie drives its fist into her shoulder, jerking away as Kelvinretaliates with a blast of freezing air. Coating her attacker in ice shards but not finishing it off, not entirely. Theomakes quick work of the other one at least, shattering its skull. That leaves the one and the she elf is certainly ready for there to be none. Switching her sword to her other hand, she goes to cut the final zombie's head from its shoulders.
Attack: 21 Damage: 8
I don't know if you ever mentioned anything specific in regards to flanking. Maybe you could go over the rule for it though? Just so everyone is clear.
Nope, just that it's in RAW that flanking is up to DM interpretation, so I wanted to get it out of the way so it's not a matter of confusion when someone actually goes to flank.

So, it's advantage when flanking. I'm cool with it, but please let me know that that's what you're doing when you roll. I won't always spot that right off the bat.
With a clean slice, the zombie's head rolls off its shoulders and bounces twice on the hard, stone floor. The body collapses, no longer bound by whatever magic brought it back to life.
Looking around at the carnage, it appears that these creatures were once the acolytes of this temple. But, according to everything you had found, they were supposed to only be asleep, not dead. What went wrong here?

The last zombie crumples, nothing but a corpse once more. Ruined and rotting and not capable of harming anything or anyone. Surveying the carnage left behind, Viayasteps over it. Retrieving her daggers firstly, before looking to the others. Kelvinand Zakonseem fine but Theo...The clericlooks in rough shape but is quick to offer guidance as to their next steps nonetheless. The elf nodding at hissuggestions as she tries to massage some feeling back into the shoulder where the zombie struck her.
"Are you sure a short rest is all you require, Theo?" She asks, crouching next to a zombie and beginning to rifle through what remains of its clothing as she speaks. "We could clear the dead, barricade the door, rest for the night and start fresh in the morning. Fresh eyes, fresh minds." After what has happened, after everything they've learned it might be for the best. Despite the short time they've known each other, Ruggero'sdesertion still stings and though the mystery of this temple and what happened to its acolytes is still looming large in her mind, she is not certain any of them are in much shape for another fight like that. Especially now that they're tired, bloodied and a man shorter than before.
Kelvin looks around in dismay. His gaze drifts back and forth between the remaining three party members. "And after I saved him in Kolovoro..." he mutters, running his silver-scaled hand through his messy crop of pale blue hair. Looks like the three of you are all I have to trust right now... Kelvin paces forward, placing a hand on the orc priest's shoulder. "You did good Theo, take as much time as you need."He pauses in thought. "Something must be terribly amiss here...by all accounts we found, there was supposed to be a ritual of sleep. Was anyone else expecting god's damned zombies??"

Zakon nods his head, agreeing with Kelvin. "Aye, something is wrong here. Perhaps someone else found them before we did and murdered them in their sleep? But why go to all the trouble of making them zombies rather than just leaving them dead?" Zakon shakes his head, but is unable to shake the feeling that he is missing something. He begins to look around the room, muttering under his breath as he does.

Theo
Looking around at the room and the pile of dead, really dead this time, he cleans the ichor off of his warhammer.
He looks around the room for anymore dangers and helps the others search the room and the bodies.
At this point he suggests they clear the dead out of the room (if the hallway is clear of danger) close the door and take a short rest.
Perception: 6
He offers guidance for others that are searching and investigating the room.
