Zakon stumbles into the room, having unexpectedly shoved his way through the door. ”Which way do we go from here?” he whispers, looking around as he does.
Kelvin, it was technically supposed to be a religion check to understand the meaning of the New Morning, but a nat 20 is something that still needs to be rewarded. I'll meet you halfway on that and give you some information. Don't worry, there's still plenty of time for exploration to find more clues.
Gotcha, so I should be using context clues from your descriptions to infer what skill checks to make?
"Friends, I've not oft studies the particular religious practices of the elves, but in my readings I believe I've come across mention of this 'Good Morning'...supposedly it has something to do with some sort of religious sect, but I can't quite recall if it prophesizes doom or renewal, but we should be on the lookout for any religious symbols." Kelvinsmiles. "Though I supposed that should have been obvious from the effigies."
Hewalks into the antechamber, on high alert.

Ruggero follows behind the rest of the crew, his eyes adjusting to the darkness. He grips his battle axe and looks about the antechamber room. "Anybody home?" he says under his breath.
Well, I had told Talos and Viaya to make a religion check, but you're right that I didn't specify what it was for. I had assumed you would have figured that part out. But, I will try to be more specific in the future. Also, it's "New" Morning, not "Good" Morning.
Also, I just now realized that Zakon and Viaya could have used Talos' guidance to help their investigation/perception rolls. I don't know if that would have made a difference, but just be sure to read everyone's posts as you go so that you don't miss important opportunities like that.
Looks like all I'm waiting on is for Viaya to make her perception check. I will PM anyone with a high enough score with what they see.

Is it possible for Ruggero to do a Stonecutting check on the stone building. Maybe get an understanding of who might have built it, ect.? Or because I did perception already I can't?
This is fine. So, after reading this feat, to my understanding, you roll for History as though you have proficiency. Since this is an intelligence skill and not a wisdom one like perception, I'll allow it. I take it you're going to look at the stonework near the door?

Ruggero goes back and decides on a hunch to see if maybe he could remember any history about the building by examining the stonework near the door as well as any other unique stonework.
It was Theo, you're right. They both start with T and they're both clerics, so that confusion may happen here until I get used to it.
Ruggero: Stonework like this is typical for the area and reflects a lot of the architectural practices of stone temples common in Goyag. Age and wear on the stone lead you to believe that the temple itself is a good 100 or 150 years old, which fits with everything you and the team have discovered so far. Each stone is stamped with a small quarter moon or starburst symbol, again referencing Corellon. As well as being the creator of the elves, Corellon is also the god of craft and other such skills. This suggests that the acolytes of this temple probably built everything here themselves.

“Which way do we want to go? Up, or through one of these doorways?” Zakon asks in a strained whisper. This doesn’t make any sense, he thinks to himself. It doesn’t seem as if the snake outside bit Vall, but since this building was unopened, surely nothing in here is responsible for the boy’s condition. Unless whatever might be in here can somehow leave the building without using the door. That’s a frightening thought.
Ruggero finishes examining the stonework and straightens his back. "Aye, nothing unusual with this stonework, except that these were expert masons. The work is beautiful," Ruggero says as he comes to stand next to Zakon. He looks up the stairs and then at the door to their right. "Well, if it were me, I'd say we check downstairs first. Don't want nuthin creepin' up behind our backs. I say we peak behind that door," Ruggero says pointing at the door.
Sorry, I know the map isn't great, but the stairs in this room only go up. Also, yes, if you want to move about before Viaya makes her check, that's fine, though you are going to have to tell me the square you intend to head to (Again, this room is a square from E5 - E10 - H10 - H5).

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ruggero saunters over to the door (E10) and examines it. If it looks thin enough he puts his ear to the door to see if he hears any movement or voices on the other side.
Honestly, 18 is high enough for this one, but good call.
Also, I've tried PMing MysPost, but I've heard nothing back. Wondering if their internet's out again or something else.
Ruggero: You hear typical sounds of the outdoors. There are a few birds chirping, but really nothing else. However, close inspection of the door reveals small holes just under the threshold of the door from the outside. You can make out the faint glint of arrowheads inside. It appears that whoever these followers of Corellon were, they did not want to be disturbed. They have clearly set traps around the area. Thankfully, your knowledge of structures and buildings has helped you realize that this trap only triggers when the door is opened from the outside. You would be safe if you opened the door from where you are now. Just out of the grimy window of the door, you can see the stone steps of the veranda outside.

That would be the east door. The west door is F5. Here's another screenshot of the map without your tokens on it to see better.
