Jove says to Elzerina, "Sure. That is all we needed. Oh and look at that. My friend says Aria is going to be just fine."
He walks her back to Ammalia and her husband. "Here is your little girl. She was very helpful."
He calls over Captain Staget, or another high ranking officer. "This girl has been through quite a scary bit. I want someone guarding her at all times. She is very smart, and could be helpful to the investigation. Also, arrange an interview with Chernok, Brimtoe, and Terenzio."
He watches Ammalia intently while saying these names, to see how she reacts. Insight: 17
Elzerina looks over at Aria and smiles at Harmony's good news.
"Thank you for being gentle with her," Ammalia says to Jove.
Captain Staget motions for the guard who was providing aid to Aria, and relays Jove's wishes, then turns back to Jove. "Terenzio is the young son of the Cassalanters, he is right over with them if you would like to speak with him. I know not of Chernok nor Brimtoe. Are they in this crowd?" he says.
For Jove:
Ammalia doesn't really react at all until Terenzio's name, when she looks down at her son.
OOC: Feel free to speak with those in the ballroom as long as you would like, and let me know once you would like to leave the ballroom and investigate the rest of the Villa.
"Aria," Abraxas asks, "are you aware of anyone who might wish to harm you? One of the prices of fame, I'm sure, is undesired attention. Do you have fans you've asked to stay away?" He wonders if they could interview Chernok, Brimtoe, and Terenzio right on the stage. "Captain, any luck finding the the three boys? If they are boys. Are Chernok and Brimtoe part of the staff?"
Harmony was thinking of what to write for lyrics, not really getting any other ideas from the others at all. So she decided what the last lines should be, hoping that this will work out before going back over to Aria. "I came up with the last two lines. Hopefully they will be good enough to restore the song's power." Harmony had said to Aria, telling her the last two lines that she came up with for the song.
"None of my fans have been a problem in the past," Aria answers. "Occasionally there will be a rowdy patron or two, but I can defend myself from ruffians easily enough. To be honest, I'm more than a little embarrassed that the imp took me by surprise like that."
Captain Staget frowns, "Terenzio is right over there with the other Cassalanters. There is nobody on staff named Chernok or Brimtoe."

Aria smiles at Harmony, muttering the lines back to herself. "I like it. Once you are done with your more pressing matters, come back here and you can help me work on the meter and tuning the lines," she says.
Harmony had heard Aria, glad to hear that as she nodded back. "Thank you. Alright, I'll be back then. Hopefully it won't take us long." she said back to her, smiling. Then she went back over to her friends, hearing Balin as she agreed. "It might be a good idea to see if anything is in her room that may help us get more clues or anything else useful." Harmony had said back to everyone, wanting to help and make sure that the little girl will be okay as well.
"Those kids may be wrapped up in something we don't yet understand. We need to keep a close eye on them. I get the feeling that the one who is orchestrating this attack and ritual are not going to let up."
"An excellent idea," Abraxas says. He asks the Captain for directions and an escort to the girl's room. Once he has the information and assuming the others are following, he goes there.
"Come with me," Staget says. "We'll find the girl's room and continue our investigation there. I don't know its exact location but I think it's best to keep our intention quiet from the Cassalanters if you believe something of interest may be in Elzerina's room."
The doors to the ballroom open again, then close behind you as Captain Staget orders the guards keep the attendants put.
A crimson carpet runs down the hall toward an open door to the foyer. Light from a crystal chandelier reflects off more than three dozen holy symbols of Siamorphe perched on wall shelves, each in the form of a silver chalice with a golden sun etched on its outside.
Tracking: There are three doors on the ground floor; one to the left where the crowd filed into the entrance hall before the performance, and two straight ahead. There is a set of stairs leading up to a narrow hall.
Jove says, "Perhaps one of these two doors (straight ahead) is where Aria prepped for her show. Maybe the devil came through here?" He motions to the closest of the two doors straight ahead, and prepares to knock. (Basically he is waiting for anyone to tell him to not do that. If nobody objects, he knocks on the door. If nobody answers, he tries to slowly open the door and announces himself entering saying, "We are here to investigate a recent attack!")
There is no answer at the door, which Jove opens to reveal a library.
The scent of old parchment hangs thick in the air. The walls are lined with tall shelves packed with colorful, leather-bound books. Each bookshelf is outfitted with a ladder on a rolling track to enable people to reach the highest books. Shelves that take up the entire southwest wall hold not books but eighty wide-necked glass bottles filled with swirling mist and sealed with corks. Hanging on the north wall between two bookshelves is a 7-foot-tall portrait of Lord and Lady Cassalanter holding two infant children and standing beside a teenage boy.
"Hmm. I wonder if the book that the story was ripped from. Faerûn Children’s Fable Book or something like that, right Abraxas? Let's see if it's here."
Jove is using the Help action to give Abraxas advantage on his investigation.
Harmony had followed the others, seeing that they are in a library. She was very surprised and amazed to see all these books even though she is not really a reader herself. The glass bottles were interesting but knew that she shouldn't mess with them. She watched as Abraxas and Jove were investigating, knowing that she wouldn't really be much help. So she went back out and decided to try the other door that they didn't go through. Of course Harmony will knock first and if no one answers, she will open it, excusing herself and announcing that she is just simply doing an investigation.

Abraxas Investigation: 14
For Abraxas and Jove:
While the library is an impressive size, most of the material you find is fairly common, except for one curious book of magical crafting. You have heard of an Enduring Spellbook before, and shockingly you have found one in a private library -- and it's empty.
For Harmony:
No response comes from the room, and when you open the door you see that it is uninhabited.
A dozen chairs surround a beautifully carved dining table in the middle of the room. The table is set with golden plates, utensils, goblets, and candlesticks. Silk napkins add to the display.
There is another door at the far end of this room.
Jove turns to Abraxas. "This book could hold some secrets, maybe with text that is invisible. I don't have a way of seeing scripts like that at the moment. I can detect any magical traces, but that would take some time. Perhaps we should hold onto it for the time being. We can catch up with the others and follow this lead when we have some down time."
Abraxas silently slides the empty spellbook into his bag. He tells himself taking it is okay because the only things he steals are books. And maybe writing supplies. "It could be an important lead," he says and pats his bag.
"What do you think of these bottles," he says and turns toward them. "I'll help you investigate them."
Jove says to Elzerina, "Sure. That is all we needed. Oh and look at that. My friend says Aria is going to be just fine."

How old are Elzerina and Terenzio?
OOC: (I am done with questions, I think. Others are welcome to question further.)

Seeing the shelves, Abraxas follows Jove into the library. He hums happily to himself as he investigates the books.
