Strix swaggers out of the ruins of the tower cradling his new find. When he hears the splashing from the well, he peers in, clears his throat and then holds the hand out to see if it has any eldritch power over the zombie.
If no, he wraps it up and puts it away, wandering back to the wall to perch.
If yes, he plays with it for a while, moving it back and forth to see if the Zombie's eyes follow it. Then puts it away and wanders off.
Regardless, pausing to survey the damage he comments "'Mind me not get'n bad side" to Zoria, grinning.
this assumes that the well is deep enough that the Zombie is down in it, and not sticking out the top of it.
The well is deep, about thirty feet down. You can just about see Zombie 6, thrashing uselessly in the water at the bottom. The hand appears to have no effect.
Zoria is nearly mortified at Strix disarming the wizard corpse, though she doesn't verbalize this to anyone, it is pretty clear by her facial expression.
Scupper, the only thing of interest or value in the chest is the bag. You open it, and discover 35 silver pieces, 20 electrum pieces, 20 gold pieces and 5 platinum pieces. You also find one large pearl worth 100 gold pieces, as well as a Potion of Healing, a spell scroll of Darkness and a tiny jewelled box worth 25 gold pieces. Inside the box you find a very beautiful and ancient-looking gold ring. Roll an Arcana check.

Incantis and the six orcs have together hunted down and killed all the zombies that were turned by Zoria. (I didn't make you go through the details of the battle). Following that, the orcs organised themselves to bring all the corpses back to the ruins and are now building a large pyre for Varinth to set alight. If Incantis wants to do anything specific as part of this, let me know.
Incantis runs after the orcs in hot pursuit, aiming his shots directly for the back of the zombies' heads, his eyes somber violet balls of pity.
As Vas lights the large funeral pyre, Incantis rests a hand on the fire sorcerer's shoulder, partially to steady him and partially to reassure him that, yes, I'm real. He stares wordlessly as the smoke rises high into the air. Turning to the rest of the party, Incantis grimaces slightly at Scupper's joke about kids. "I'd not have any of them not go to rest...there must be other ways to ward the well."

You all still hear the splashing of Zombie 6, down the well. It doesn't appear able to climb up, but it's trying.

Scupper will open the chest again and grab the coins for the party, and anything of value.

Ah yes...some kind of artifact no doubt 11
Or perhaps jest an antique from his ma.
Scupper, as you don't have anything in the way of magical training, you can't really tell anything about the ring other than it is magical.
