Dekhan, Oggor seems to be sincere in what he's saying, and protective of the other orcs. He is half-expecting you to execute them, or at least him, for what they've done though.
We're not "going after the banshee", it's a diplomatic mission! Put your hammer away, and try the bottle-of-wine-bunch-of-flowers approach!
You're right, I shouldn't assume the banshee will be evil and we have to fight it lol maybe we should come prepared with some baked goods? Mini muffins?
Dekhan looks Oggor in the eyes. Every one has the potential to redeem themselves. It goes against everything I stand for to rob you of that chance, there will be no executions here. You followed Brughor, he led you down a path you couldn’t see the end of. Leaders have a way of doing that, good or bad , they can bring us to places we wouldn’t normally go.
You say your not a leader, Oggor, most good leaders don’t see themselves as such at first. You want what’s best for your tribe, that’s the most important thing. Help lead them back to the new ways.
You don’t have to return to the Many Arrows now. You could stay out here, take contracts, make a name for yourselves with the peoples of this land. Forge new alliances, go back to your King with something to show of the strength of the new ways. I believe in you, Oggor.
I will... talk with the lads, replies Oggor. Few outsiders trust orcs, and we deserve it less than most. I will tell them what you said. But we will journey with you this day. Dekhan, you get the sense that your words have had a great meaning for him.
The hunters have returned, and the party is ready now to set out. If you are headed towards the banshee, that means going north back to Conyberry, and then into Neverwinter Wood. Just confirm it with me, and the party will set out.
I’m ready to go and try to reason with the banshee, we gotta be very polite, some baked goods may help, but I don’t know what banshees eat... could somebody with some arcana or history skill see if they could figure out why Kost wanted the book? Could it be the key to finding something cool here?
As for the orcs, I’d be down with taking them back to town and making some introductions. Talking up how they helped take care of the zombies and necromancer, maybe see if Sildar or Sister Garaele could help place them in a position to strengthen Orc-Not Orc relations, maybe as an auxiliary defense force for the town?
I really like the idea of an orc defense force to improve relations, and Incantis is always down to approach arcane aberrations with an air of curiosity.

If an orc defense force is vocalized, Zoria suggests making the town pay for a defense force, but doesn't react any particular way if everyone ignores her.
I'd like to read as much as possible of the books i had found but realize it might not be a one day affair. So anytime we're not actively fighting or sleeping or talking, Scupper will have his nose in a book. He casually waves his hand in acceptance of the trip to Neverwinter Wood.
"Aye sure... I'm guessing til we know anything about where the Black Spider is, we're stuck wandering about doin' odd jobs fer whoever wears the nicest smile...or carries the largest reward."
Is Scupper starting with A History of the Sword Coast or Remnants of Netheril? Let me know when he reads. There will typically be a chance to do so in the evenings before resting, and of course during downtime.
Scupper, do you think there could be any hints in those books as to why Kost wanted the information from the banshee? Incantis, do you believe it could have something to do with this site or the surrounding area perhaps?
Truth be told, Dekhan, what're the odds o' some evil wizard, various factions, and the Black Spider all taking root in this area at the same time as the Rockseekers discover some lot mine with some kind o' powerful magic relic dating back to the ancients...I was hoping that feckin' wizard had taken notes but i didn't see any unless they were on his body...and Strix searched him good and proper.
So aye...this here book may be the best clue we get te figuring out jest what the hell mess we're in... unless the banshee is friendly enough to share stories.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Varinth let's out a scream that would not be out of place coming from a three year old girl. Functioning purely from his lizard brain he grabs the hand and flings it away with all his reactionary might.

do you need to breathe so loudly?
After some morning ablutions Vaz gets himself ready for travel.
Must have had a wee too much wine last night sirs. When did we get a tent?

Remnants of Netheril seems most likely to contain something about an ancient magic forge or lost mine so he's starting with that.
He'll occasionally pipe up with:
"Hey lads, didja know that..."
Or
"So it says here that..."
In order to keep the group informed...and because he can't NOT talk, given the opportunity.

I thought we were gunna deal with some undead near a windmill first? says Vaz, obviously having no memory of last night.
Strix sneaks up behind Vaz and places the hand of the wizard on his shoulder (stealth 13)

Varinth's passive perception is 9, so Strix does manage to sneak up and catch him unawares.
"Oh noes! Undead deal us first!" Strix screams, having snuck back around do he can point at Vaz's shoulder in abject horror.
If the hand survives he will recover it while trying not to vomit from the stomach-ckenching hilarity
