Okay, scratch the CON save (and you still have the bardic inspiration).
With his divine smite, Talon glows a brilliant, almost blinding white with a faint hint of luscious green, as the sword cleaves the wraith in two. The tendrils of black curl and twist in the air as the creature falls, but then fade as the dark, twisted undead shape disappears from existence. There are no remains.
Combat is over. You stand in what is left of the wraith's lair, where it kept watch over its possessions for hundreds of years. Those possessions are now very hot in a hot iron chest, but there's no-one else around.
Dekhan watches as Talon cleaves through the wraith and it discorporates. He stands in shock for a moment then drops to his knees, tears shining in his eyes as the glow subsides. He places Talon’s point into the ground and rests his forehead against the hilt. I’m sorry. Thank you, Ancient Ones, for showing me that even in my hour of doubt that I am still worthy. You have shown me the Light, I will not forget. I will never forget.
Dekhan rises and turns to Scupper, tears still shining in his eyes. Scupper, my friend, my faith in my own abilities may have been shaken, but I never lost faith in you.He claps the halfling on the shoulder and turns with an almost beatific joy that’s been absent from him recently to the rest of the group. Or any of you, for that matter. I feel this moment was a sign, my brothers, we are on the right path, we are bringing the Light to the Darkness. It’s so clear to me now! Think of all we can accomplish with the wealth these jewels will bring!
Don't go making me weep like a child, ye bright bastard. That was impressive and I'm jest poking at ye. As for them jewels... we'd best get some now because we earned 'em. We can accomplish all yer dreams if we have time te get all these jewels...which we don't...but a few o' the shinier ones would do for something...
Like a ship. To carry your light...and a few of the shadows light always brings. Aye Dekhan. Drink it in, lad...and fly up there and grab us a few dreams while yer at it.
Ore? Even better, ore to fuel production once we’ve restored the mine to its former glory! And we’ll have our ship still, Scupper! Working together there’s nothing we can’t achieve!
Dekhan then follows Strix over to the next door. hefting Talon and preparing to use his divine sense when the door is opened.
You look through the contents of the chest, and find 1,100 copper pieces, 160 silver pieces, 50 electrum pieces, three diamonds worth 100 gold each, and a wooden pipe adorned with platinum filigree worth around 150 gold pieces.
Scupper, you can head outside and make a Perception check to try to find a way up to the ceiling.
Strix, you bang your head noisily against the door as you listen, but you don't hear anything other than the ringing in your ears. It's not trapped, as far as you can see.
Strix opens the door a sliver and peeks inside, slowly opening further until he either sees something and slams the door, running away or sees nothing and opens it fully.
Strix, you nudge the door open a little bit. Then a little bit more. Then a little bit more. Then a little bit more....
There's nothing. I mean, there's stuff. Some barrels, some empty crates. It's a storage area, you think. No creatures, and nothing worth anything, as far as you can see.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
If it's a single room and it looks clear, Strix will enter carefully, looking for mining equipment (picks, shovels, block and tackle, barrows, that kind of thing)
Strix, you find no mining equipment, but you do find a few broken vials and jars of odd chemicals, nothing usable, mostly gone, but leaving traces enough to make you suspect that an alchemist or wizard lived here. Back in the main room, you find books, in various languages. The ones you can read are all history. They're old... written hundreds of years ago, but they are perfectly preserved; you suspect perhaps even magically preserved, and are still in excellent condition.
Leafing through one of the books, Strix pretends to find the messes of intersecting lines intriguing, then closes them up and pockets as many as he can starting with the ones with the coolest pictures on the front so he can show them to the more learned members of the crew. (Which he'll do immediately)
I didn’t think that was going to hit... can I add Divine Smite?
If so Radiant damage 20 also, I forgot to mention the +4 radiant damage from divine soul. Sorry!
Yes, you can.
Con save: 13 bardic inspiration: 4
Thank you!
Incantis watches wordlessly as his bolt of eldritch energy passes through the wraith while Talon strikes true with divine embodiment.
((FYI, you can choose whether to add bardic inspiration until after seeing the roll))
Incantis, half-elf warlock (great old one) 4/bard 1 ● Thorok Earthhand, hill dwarf mountain druid 6/grave cleric 2
Cragmyre Ironseed, earth genasi ancestral barbarian 3 ● Cyrus Natriallae, aquatic half-elf warlock of the deep 3

You'd tink I'd be used to him thanking his sword first but it still stings me ego jest a wee bit.
Also...correct me if I'm wrong, and I know it's not our objective per say...but is this cave ceiling covered in fecking jewels?!
Scupper examines the cave for a way up

"Not jewels. Ore mebbe. Dig, heat up, is metal. Seen orcs do - how hard it be? But jewels is here!"
Strix will hold up a (balaclava covered) hand full of the ghost's jewels.
"Nuff buy sometin. After. Is nother door over there - nother ghost mebbe. Should check first, careful like."
Taking his own advice, Strix creeps north to the other door and looks for traps and/or a keyhole to peek through.

Varinth will sheepishly join the others in the Alchemists room.
Sorry Fellas, he gingerly handles the wooden pipe, tossing it from hand to hand I thought this thing might have held it's... thingie.
He has a cursory look at the books Strix is playing with.
