Zoria looks at the Redbrand's finger as it points towards her. I'm with him,she replies, nodding over towards Dekhan before drinking, or at least appearing to drink from a tankard of ale.
Goodness me, we've got all sorts in today, say Grista, coming round the bar with the latest set of fresh drinks. Are you boys sitting or what?
The Redbrands look at you all somewhat curiously: Insight: 10
After a pause...
We came here to drink, says Vit, so let's drink. He motions to a table; the six Redbrands sit their or at Pote's table and grab their drinks. The one who had pointed at Zoria follows suit but is still looking at her suspiciously.
We'll make this another skill challenge. I assume the aim is to keep the Redbrands entertained and drinking long enough that they all pass out or become so drunk you can overpower them easily, is that right?
Dario looks at Incantis and shakes his heard. "I don't hear anything. Let me move around you and then you open the door and I'll cover like we did with the trapdoor." Dario then maneuvers around Incantis and gets in a kneeling position and aims his arrow at the door, waiting for Incantis to open it up.
Varinth, you use your Control Flames cantrip to juggle fire, but you have apparently forgotten that you are still lying prone upon the floor. The little balls of fire hit the underside of the table where Pote and some of the other Redbrands are sitting, and the table catches fire. The Redbrands scramble away from the table in shock. What the... What the hell you doing, you fool? shouts Vit.
Varinth attempts to sit up, laughing. He will put out the flames (hopefully) with Control Flames. He will mumble his apologies and join Scupper to tell him about that time he nearly burnt down a tavern!
Which button do I push to link a spell to the words?

Before you're able to get away and join Scupper, Vit grabs you by the shoulder and spins you round. I asked you what the hell you're doing, friend.
The first stage of the skill challenge is to calm the Redbrands down after Vaz nearly set them on fire. I need three people to describe how they're going to contribute to this by saying or doing something - including taking any action or casting a spell. Please don't roll any skill checks yet; after three people have contributed, I'll decide who will make the main check, whether it's at advantage/disadvantage, and the DC, based on the three contributions. Actions will help if they make sense and, in the case of the second and third person to contribute, if they build upon or support the first contribution rather than being completely separate or contradictory.
Scupper will actually mock Vit into letting it go by questioning his fear in front of his friends.
"You get pretty damn serious about a spot o' fire eh, lad? Too scary? Didja maybe get burned as a wee child? Haha! What say you lads? You lot know where where your mate picked up the jitters o'er a bit o' the flame?
Hey everyone! Here's te fire! Otherwise meat would taste like shite!" Scupper raises his glass. (I would believe this to be somewhat friendly intimidation).
Incantis opens the doorway, making sure to stay off to the side in order to give Dario an unobstructed view beyond while still remaining in view himself.

Incantis, half-elf warlock (great old one) 4/bard 1 ● Thorok Earthhand, hill dwarf mountain druid 6/grave cleric 2

Incantis, the door opens onto a five-foot-wide landing fifteen feet above a large cellar. From where you are, there are stone steps descending to the floor in two short flights. You can't see every detail of the room from where you are, but you do see barrels against the walls and what looks to be a large pool of water on the far side of the room. This area is actually brightly lit - there are oil lamps hanging from the walls or balanced in nooks here and there. You see a closed wooden door on the west wall.
Incantis takes a look back at Dario, his polyphonic voice filling the elf's head once more. Nothing ventured nothing gained, ever free or ever chained. He whispers, "watch my back, friend," and takes a cautious crouching step out onto the landing.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dario hears his friend's voice in his head and nods. He moves into the room, keeping cover on Incantis with his drawn bow. He looks around the room to see if notices anything special.
Dekhan laughs Aye, the horse woman is with me. Been traveling a bit together. I seen her kick an uppity goblin all ta shit one day and I said to myself “I could stand travel with her a ways” sides maybe if I get too drunk she’ll let me ride her, and I’m always up for a goin for a ride on a lady, ey lads! Here’s to the bee the stung the horse and started the horse to buckin’. And here’s to that man who stuck the first lass and started the world a’****in! Drink up!
Dario and Incantis, you enter the room and slowly venture down the stairs towards the central area. There's not much to see that you couldn't see when you first opened the door. The oil lamps provide good illumination; you would guess they need to be refilled every seven or eight hours. The water in the pool looks clear and fresh at first glance, and the barrels are closed tight; they are not covered in dust, and appear to be in good condition.
You can now see that there are three ways to enter or leave the room: the way you came in, the door you saw previously on the west wall, and a third door leading north under the stairs (H1 on the map). You still don't hear sound coming from behind the doors, or any sound at all really.

Against the advise of the small voice in his head, Varinth will try to juggle fire for the entertainment of the "troops"

Do you mean like this? Control Flames?
Yeah, how are you doing that?
There isn't a button, you have to type it in square brackets [ ]. The instructions are in the first post on this thread: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/play-by-post/2069-pbp-rules-and-faq-please-read-first
