Wren nods in agreement to Andolin, "I just dont like giving them extra reasons to be watching."
Wren glances around the room and with a small smile he speaks softly, "Im not sure if they'd have a job for us, but those merchants might have the coin to pay best."
Darwin grins ear to ear as Cellica joins him and Terrence. "Ah we aint plottin nothin, just enjoyin a pint of ale away from the quiet ones." He raises the pint before him and chugs half of it before setting it back down before him.
Answering to Olena's quarrel about the room. Darwin huffs, he figured as much. Not often did he find a room big enough for him. "Aye that would be most kind of you, By the fireplace if you would be so kind. " Picking up the pint he chuckled, then again when would someone ever expect a Large dragonborn would be staying in one of their rooms. Letting out a puff of cold air to chill what remained of his pint, Darwin nudges Terrance and Cellica. "Good job today, the both of you."

"I think it might be best to leave the merchants be...those fine gentleman at the bar look capable of taking care of any issues they might have," Andolin says giving Wren a pointed look. Lowering his voice, he says, "The old man and the girl are headed in our direction, northward along the Long Road here, if I heard the barmaid correctly. Perhaps they could use some company, though I suspect they may be light on coin. The priest appears to be a bit better off, but I'm not sure I'm familiar with his deity." As Andolin says this, he peers closer to try to get a look at the symbol around the neck of the priest.

Wren takes a glance over the guards and shrugs, "Men drink, drinks make men sloppy." Raising his hands defensively at Andolin's look, Wren says "I suppose if we aren't going to get paid for traveling along the road Id rather protect someone who needs it than some priest."
Darwin polishes off the pint before him, letting a belch up as he places the pint glass back onto the bar. "Right, Good rest my friend." He responds to Terrance as the gnome bids goodnight. Rustling threw the satchel on his left side, Darwin produces a comedicly small pipe for someone his size; its regular size but in his large hands it looks like a child's toy. Packing it with some kind of ground up leaf. Flicking a match on the counter, he lights the pipe and takes a good puff from it. He has never said what exactly he smokes in his pipe but, it doesn't smell like tobacco. Usually partaking of it after a meal or a mug of ale, But never during the day always at Night and usually before he rests.
Darwin attempts to flag down Olena to ask about the stable, He didnt mind sleeping outside and it was better then curling up on the floor.

Darwin - "Oh, no," she exclaims in embarrassment, "what, with the merchant's oxen and wagons, and the other horses, there is barely room for our own cat to sleep in the barn!"
Darwin smiles, His pointed teeth surprisingly shiny and well taken care of. "Thanks for your time, any chance I can get those mattresses then? The day is beginning to wear on me, could use a good rest to bid it farewell." Darwin knocks the pipe on the counter, letting the ash fall out and stores the pipe back into his satchel. He yawns and stretches his shoulders, feeling the wear lifting that cart had taken on him.

Darwin, Olena smiles at you with an armload of dishes and whispers to her father as she goes into the backroom. Nezhyti goes upstairs and returns a few minutes later.
"Your bed's ready, my friend, freshly stuffed, so should be like sleeping on a cloud. As they say, 'may the spirits of slumber bless your dreams and watch over your body'."
The room..
is 30 x 15, with a fireplace (10' wide) to the right of the door. A table with 3 chairs sits in the corner beside the fireplace. Along the left wall, two sets of bunk beds have been arranged, with the third, a dresser and a wardrobe against the far wall. Before the fireplace, 2 thick mattresses have been laid. All of the beds have thick, heavy quilts and goose down pillows. The furniture itself, of sturdy oak, is very old, but well oiled and sturdy.
The time is now about 2 hours before the moon's zenith...
@Horus: "Tis spring, good sir, and many a side road are wet and hardly passable for wagon or horse. But the main tracks of the caravans, being bedded with good limestone, hereabouts, have dried. If your travels take you east, there is still snow in the high passes." The old priest has kindly eyes, and a concerned look as he continues, "And bandits. Many an unwary traveler in the further north and east has met horrid fates. My name be Edrose, a simple priest of Fharlanghn. Should you tell me where you are bound, I will surely ask him for guidance in my morning prayers."
“We’re heading in search of work, and I believe that means North or East, unfortunately. Your prayers would be appreciated, Edrose. I’m not one to turn away assistance.”
@Horus: "Work you say," he says with a sly inflection and a wink, "judging by your group your in search of riches, fame and glory. Fame and glory, THOSE are to be found aplenty in the north, with all manor of ilk lairing just of the roads. Aye, even ruins of old cities and forts, long picked over, but still... maybe a treasure or two. Fharlanghn is also the God of Horizons, and many think that is only the limit of your view. Perhaps yours, but his view is much further, to the Horizons of your fate. And he shares glimmers of this with those who follow him. For nigh on forty years now, each morning he has guided my steps along these roads. Many like you I have met. Now, at last, he guides my feet to the sea. In all my travels I have never seen the wonder of the sea!! I can only imagine its glory and power, the ultimate road..." His voice trails off, his eyes full of hope and wonderment.
Cellica grinned slightly at the large dragonborn next to her. She emptied the pint in front of her and looked over her shoulder to see if anyone else had retired for the night except Terrance. Next to her Darwin let out a yawn and streched his aching muscles "Time to get some rest big guy?" she asked still smiling. She ordered another drink for herself though as she was not as tired as the rest of her party. Horus had walked off to talk to the priest and her curiosity was piqued. Bidding Darwin a good night, she slid of her barstool and made her way towards Horus and the Priest. She caught some of the conversation when she stopped close to the table "The sea has many wonders indeed." she said smiling at the priest and nodding at Horus. "It's beauty is uncanny..." after a short pause she looked at both men "Mind if I join in?"
