Terrance just continues to stand over Darwin's body with his mace drawn watching as Horus tries to identify what's wrong with him. "I already checked, looks as though nothing's wrong with him that's non-magical. Unless you have a purify you'll have to find out what's ailing this place."
Darwin stands and stares at his COmpanions and himself, Glancing about the room. "What is this, Stop hiding behind the faces of others Evil swine. Face me and know that I am not afraid." He snarls in Draconic.

Cellica was ready to beat the living daylights out of anything that came at them when she saw Darwin go down. "Either we figure out what's going on fast or Darwin won't be the only one who goes down." none of them seemed to have an idea of what was going on and Cellica tried to remember if she read anything about this during her studies at the monestary. Maybe if she read something about it she could help or figure out what was going on... "Maybe we should try to kick the door down? Or look if we can find any of the other -now probably undead- patrons of the Tavern..." her eyes kept darting around the room for anything that may suddenly pop out and try to attack them.

Seeing Cellicia eyeing the door Terrance pipes up, "Who cares about the door let's just get out through these windows. I'll need a bit of help with Darwin's body though." Terrance steps away from Darwin briefly and starts smashing the windows in the tavern wall with his mace. "Help me out with this everyone, If whatever is holding us here can't be strong enough to project all of us into another plane, nor is it probably strong enough to recreate the landscape around us for miles. If we get far enough away it's strength should fail eventually."
Moving to the door, you see the hall turns to the left, with another door at the end of the hall.
Common Room
Cellica scans the room and her memory for any clues. She remembers a fellow student liked to read stores of horror stories, and to her despair liked to talk about them instead of meditating. Though this isn't specifically like any she remembers, there is the same feel. That there is something larger, manipulating them that they have not seen,
Darwin
Approaching the table, Terrence turns to you. His face is a mass of deep cuts and the front of his armor is covered in thick, dried blood. The armor has been stripped from his left arm, and the arm ends in a mangled mess halfway to the elbow, "Brave Paladin," he spits with vehemence.
Cellica, half her throat ripped out and blood covering her looks at you, "Where were you when we needed your strength? Where was your Goddess when we needed protection?"
Andolin, missing his jaw turns eyes of hatred toward you, Wren sits looking quietly at the table, a glowing dagger in her heart, and Horus, surrounded by shadow sits headless.
Your body (at the table) slumps forward and its head bangs on the table and something rolls from its hand onto the table. Your eyes are drawn to the glowing dagger in its back, just as the bugbear....

Darwin is genuinely freaked out not by the sight of himself but the sight of his Companions. For a moment he forgets the anger that was building inside him and stares in Disbelief before shaking his head and re-affirming himself. This was not real and he knew that.
"Friends, If you can hear me. Know that I would never abandon either of you In a time of need." He speaks once more In draconic. Looking at the dagger in his back and what had rolled out of his hand.

“Let Andolin and Wren finish searching the place before we do anything. And take it from me... running away does little to solve a problem.” Horus’ Eyes dart around the room as he says this. “I still think that wisp is key. The darkness in its shape diminished somewhat when we defeated the pair upstairs. If we continue, that darkness may be weakened enough to get us what we want: Darwin back, information or escape.”

Raising an eyebrow at Terrance his comment she picks up a chair and walks to the nearest window, quickly glancing back at Darwin who is still completely out of it and for a moment Cellica wondered if he would get back like himself or if they'd have to fight him... shaking off the thought she turned back towards the window and hurled the chair at it as hard as she can.

Cellica's chair breaks through glass, knocking open the shutter and disappears into the fog.
Darwin
As you peer at the round object, you recognize it as an acorn. Before your eyes, the acorn splits open sending a taproom into the wood and a slender shoot into the air. Quickly the table is covered in fine roots as the plant seeks nourishment. Sickly, the shoot grows into a three foot twisted sapling with several branches. With the last of its energy it produces a single acorn, which drops to the table and rolls toward you.
As you look at the acorn, a soft glow approaches from the bar. As it gets closer, you recognize the headless form of Olena walking toward you with a round of drinks. She stops before the table and dips her finger into a mug. Blood drips from her finger as she scrawls on the table. "Before Dawn"
Terrance smashes his mace through the window next to Cecilia. "Seems a fools errand to try to fight a mythical beastie with no knowledge of it or its motivations." Terrance calls out to Horus. Climbing through the open window Terrance shines his shield around in the fog. "I'll look around a bit." Mace drawn he walks forward about 20 feet away from the tavern.

If nothing there, he'll move down the hall to Wren. "Before we open this, I've been thinking about Darwin. When we opened the door upstairs, we ran into those two mages from last night, but they had turned into living skeletons. We fought them, and I've been replaying it in my mind...I think Darwin slew both of them. Perhaps this is why he has been affected so. We should proceed very cautiously if we do find something unnatural."
Andolin will ready himself for Wren to open the closet door.
