Egil moves as quietly as possible with the benefit of the spell despite his tiredness and his armour. Focusing on trying to stay quiet he doesn't really look about as they move.

Your group makes their way quietly through the forest thanks to Daisy's spell. You arrive at the edge of the woods once more and the village looks much how it did when you say it yesterday evening. Even at a distance you can see the figures of creatures patrolling the wall. A huge flock of ravens has settled onto the field, picking at the bodies of the defenders that have been left out to rot.

Daisy and Kraerd, the two of you spot what looks like small boat drifting out in the bay.

You could easily use the woods as cover to move to a place upstream and out of sight to cross the river if you still want to scout the other side.

(Unoccupied boat? Perception 20)

Daisy gets a good look and doesn't spot anyone in the boat.

(Sorry for the wait, for some reason I thought I responded to this.)

" I could swin to recover that boat" says the goliath. " Better to have it in case we need it " 

Missy cocks her head in confusion. "Won't they see you do this?"

"Hmm no if the drift brings the boat a little more to that rocks over there... I think..." 

Kraerd you think you could get the boat without being spotted. If you want to swim for it I'll need an Athletics check.

    Daisy muses the idea, "Hmm... Isn't that where the boy said that giant crab was hiding?"

"Ok I'll go..." says the goliath when he sees that the drift follows the expected course. 

If nobody stops him he will try to swin towards the boat. 

Athletics18

Kraerd is having a harder time then he would like swimming out to the boat. The water is freezing cold, but Goliaths are well adapted to cold environments so it doesn't cripple you as it would someone else. You manage to grab a rope dangling from the prow of the boat and tow it back to shore.

The boat is painted a pale blue color and seems well taken care of. There is coiled rope sitting inside along with a tangled fishing net.

The goliath shakes the water and sits taking a few moments to catch his breath. 

"Now we have a boat" he says somehow triumphant, as if it solves all their questions.

"Masterfully done my friend, where are we sailing to?" Egil mutters sarcastically, clearly still grouchy and tired from the march the previous day. Thinking better of his comment he apologises "sorry, I'm not good at being patient."

"We can pass the big crab now. " he says apparently not getting the sarcasm on Egil's voice or deciding to ignore it " Or we can fish dinner" he says raising the net for the others to see.

"Well done Big fella, Perhaps we'll get some fish when we're done with this." Salem Looks to where they are set to go. "So I guess we try to infiltrate by boat?"

Dm: is there a point where we could row up to the wall? Can we all fit in the boat?

The boat is just  big enough for the six of you to fit. You could row it up to the wall at any point, or you could use it to cross the bay and explore the other side of the river.
