Here's the gnoll camp. The figures laying down without numbers are dead gnolls. You guys are on the right. When you move in I'll label you and post a new map :)
Wormsquirt ponders a moment about the battle to come. Knowing that they may not fair all that well considering how poor the last two fights have gone he does what any good, or desperate for that matter, kobold in his position would do...
Running into the camp ahead, Wormsquirt stops and drops to his knees. Placing himself in the most advantageous spot in case this goes horribly wrong... and it probably will... so he can escape as quickly as possible.
"Please... please... don't hurt them! They had nothing to do with the food that went missing. It was ME... IT WAS MEEEEEEEEEE!!!" cries Wormsquirt. "I stole the food... I was just so hungry..."
OOC: this is what I'm trying to accomplish
Grovel, Cower, and Beg: Once per short rest as an action, you can cower to distract foes. Until the end of your next turn, allies gain advantage on attacks against enemies within 10 ft. of you that can see you.
Nice! Although they cant understand what you're saying they see you crawling up to them and seem taken aback and a bit confused. (The party will get the advantage but also give me a deception check)
Immediately afterward I use my 2 sorcerer points to Cast Sleep on Gnoll 5. Considering that the gnolls are clumped all in one place and Gnoll 5 is in the center it should affect all of the other gnolls.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: OK, a couple things
1. Damage: [roll](if([roll:-1:critical], =0, 2d8 + 1d6, 2{2d8 + 1d6}.expand()))[ /roll] the reason that didn't work was just the space in the last tag [ /roll] no space between [/
2. You don't need to use your sorcery points, but you can if you want to, Using your 2 points will convert to an extra spell slot giving you 4 lvl 1 spell slots for the day. If you're trying to use your points so you can cast sleep as a bonus action then, beetle is correct. That doesn't work like that at lvl2... Usually. For the sake of some good RP, since you have been reading those books Parth gave you about the history of your art I'm going to work it in as a reward for the playing. It will have some consequences though :)
3. I don't see anything wrong with the first dmg roll of 12? It looks like it rolled 2d8+1d6
Belialuin launches a chaos bolt at G1and in a great booming wave of thunder he gets hit with a concussive force for 12 dmg knocking him to the ground DEAD with a crushed chest.
A wave of inspiration come over Belialuin and he can feel his magic twist for a moment, half knowing it shouldn't be possible, he's also recalling a specific tale from the book Parth gave him and he manages to cast sleep in a bonus action centered on G5. You see G4 and G5 fall to the ground unconscious.
Immediately after casting Belialuin stumbles and puts his hand on his knees, a wave of exhaustion washing over him. (You are now at 1 lvl of exhaustion. You have disadvantage on ability checks)
G1 is dead
G2 is totally confused by the groveling Kobold and suffering -2ac
Zarbof rushes in and slams his axe into G2 KILLING him. Seeing that he's going to drop Zarbof quickly turns and surges into G3 sinking his axe into it's skull KILLING him as well (they were both pretty messed up already)

Belialuin once again charges his Chaos Bolt and with a heavy throw directs it towards Gnoll 1 .

The damage didn't parse there so I'll try rolling with a basic roll: 12
OOC: How can I add a roll in between a roll ??
I Guess ill separate them, for now, 10 + 5
OOC: Sorcerer points don't work like that I don't think. Not until your level 3 at least and can use sorcerer points for Quicken Spell.
