There's some really close calls as you run Estes and a couple times you think Saada might fly off but you make over the broken land and the terrain starts to level out as you get closer to the city and it's much easier going.
Closing in on Okcho you can see it's pandemonium. There's at least 2 fires that have broken out and are growing quickly while people try to put them out. There's several people laying injured in the streets and the building in the center of the town. What's considered the meeting house has collapsed and the dust is still settling. You can see some of the homes and shops have also suffered damage of varying severity. (I will get up a map of Okcho up shortly but it's basically laid out like a spoked wheel centered on the meeting house.)

Perception 13 As he looks around Estes is using his druidcraft to snuff out small fires. "Help the people, keep the safe ones calm to help and the injured and endangered out of the way, then stop the fires from spreading. We can worry about what happened, how, and why once the situation is under control."
Looking for the nearest uninjured man, "you! Form an bucket brigade. NOW" Estes pauses his fire taming to use thaumaturgy to boom his voice at the man.

Saada nods in agreement and runs off to escort survivors to safe areas, using Gust and Prestidigitation to clear paths. She keeps her ears open, listening for any cries for help.
Estes and Saada get to work trying to gather survivors and put out fires.
Estes: In trying to form a bucket brigade, the logical choice to you is to get water from the lake but most of the people are resistant to that idea. Saying it's acid and cursed. Knowing the town and how many fresh water wells there are you quickly understand that those aren't going to cut it. You're going to need to convince people to use the lake water. You can give me intimidation or persuasion (with advantage for Saada helping with the whole thing)
Saada: You start helping get the injured into one area and are joined by a couple of the other town folk dragging people who cant walk and assisting those who can. Someone has come up with a wagon and is hauling it with people instead of horses to help load the injured into. As you make you're way into the center of town weaving a path to pass by the most damaged looking houses and shops you find several people trapped in what you know is a general goods store. The family lives above the shop but the wood roof and second floor has collapsed down onto the stone first floor. Doing a quick scan you can see the doors and windows of the first floor are blocked by debris.
“Where are you getting the water from? The acid lake? Tordal can you cleanse water and make the water holy water? Sinjin what about your magic spells here?”
vail walks towards the fire and confusion wavering in whether or not he wants to help. He doesn’t much like fire. He notices the tieflings running around trying to assist. He jogs over to the collapsed house Saada is at,
”what’re you looking at? Are there people in there?”
Sinjin: "I don't have any water spells, but perhaps I could help a bit." He makes his way to the end of the fire brigade and starts using Mold Earth to create a firebreak to keep the fire from spreading.

Saada notices Vail's and approach. "There are children trapped inside, behind the debris. Their father is trapped on the second."
She investigates the roof, looking for an entrance in and an anchor point for a rope. She pulls a rope of her pack and begins to tie a loop at the end. She then begins to prepare her climbing gear, putting her harness and gathering her pitons.
"C'mon guys lets follow 'em!" Tauriel readies a dash herself. "Dunno if they're good or not, but aren't we heading that direction anyway?"
Vail watches the camel, amazed as it’s the first time he’s seen a camel before in his entire life, sprint away at a clip. And begins to slow.
”We’ll never be able to catch them. If I had a horse I might. Let them go we can plan our next move.”
He sets Sinjin down.
”you’re heavy grandpa.”
Ok, So Saada rides off on Estes as a camel and takes off toward around the lake toward Okcho.
The rest off the party are headed there at their normal speed it sound like?
Estes give me a DEX check please. You are running over a recently earth-quaked area.

Yup we are heading there at regular pace! Or running pace atleast! Let us know when we get there!
Ooc: I’ve been trying to slow down today to let the others participate more but I’ll just keep driving the party if that’s ok

OOC: I'll be busy with work and won't be able to post as frequently until later.
"Hello! Anyone need help?" Saada cries out before listening for a reply.

Saada's thoughts are racing. She can barely think straight with all the chaos around her.

(No problem Saada and Vail that's fine. We're mostly RPing right now, if any major decisions need making we'll wait on folks)
Saada: You can hear cries for help from within. Sounds like children. "Yes! Help. We're trapped in here. Our father is stuck under the roof!"
Vail. You and the rest of the party finally make it to the outskirts of town and see the chaos I had described earlier.

Estes: You manage to persuade folks to overcome their fear and get a bucket line started.
Vail: One of the first things you notice getting to town is the bucket brigade that Estes is leading trying to get the fires under control.

Vail looks on at the building and back to the other group.
”Shit I should probably go in there at some point. I might be able to vault up there. Just don’t let anything happen to my little bush here.”
He finds a secluded spot to drop his pack and gives tiwggy a little pat and whispers something sweet
ooc: whats the building like? Can I make an athletics check to climb up to the second floor?
