"Okay guys, the nice man up there will help you out." Saada nods up towards the top of the stairs. "He's not going to hurt, and listen to what he says."
Saada escorts the children down the side of the collapsed building, keeping her tail within their grabbing distance in case the fell.
"Estes, we got a man pinned underneath some debris on the second. But I get the feeling that this place isn't going to handle much more. We need a way to get this guy out."
"I think Saada is right, this building like like it could go at any moment!" Tordal grabs Vail by the arm, "Remember what you learned at the temple. In times like this, look to Apollo for strength. He will guide you through!" guidance
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ooc: gonna try and make all of this fit into one timeline. So I’m assuming we just helped the kids out, Tordal gave me guidance, and Tauriel is able to help with the stone lift. If I’m understanding it right I should have advantage for the str check and +1d4 from guidance.
Strength: 24
advantage: 24
guidance: 3
Edit post roll: so in this case I should be able to take the higher of the 2 d20 rolls and then add on the guidance bonus right?
You guys get the kids out but the fallen debris pinning the father is really a *****. Finally after Tordal arrives and provides some guidance to Vail he's able to get the beam lifted enough that others can drag the father out from under it.
When lifting the beam and setting it back down after the father is free you can hear the whole roof groaning and the whole stairwell shifts slightly.
(Nobody that you know of. You can ask the kids. They'll tell you that the customers all ran out of the shop when it started to shake. The family tried to run upstairs)
Saada crouches in front of the kids, saying "Okay we're going help some more people. I need you to look after your dad until he wakes up. Can you do that for me?"
The children still looking pretty frightened nod. One of the other people who have been helping gather the injured steps up and says "Don't worry. I'll look after them." Then looking to the party, especially the non-tielfing members says "Thank you! That was well done!"
Getting to the meeting house you can see that this building has more than just collapsed in on itself, there's a section that is sunken below the level of the ground. Looking down you can see the sunken area looks 15-20' deep.
For everyone who's climbing down you'll need acrobatic or athletic checks. Whichever works best for you. It's rough getting down there. There's crumbled rock, pieces of broken timbers and crushed parts of furniture sticking out of the rubble, etc.

"Whoa there, this is looking pretty dangerous. Here let me try Mr. Vail." STR 25
(Midterms this week so I've been slower)
Vail reaches down a hand and assists the kids out of the collapsed roof.
”Wait here one second.”
he climbs down the broken structure and points at the rope. He intends to spot the little ones if they fall off.
”Can you climb that there kids? There’s Estes and Tordal over there with the buckets.”
Vail wants to urge the little ones to hurry so he can get to work on the debris from the father.

OOC: Aside from the father and Vail, who else is in the house?

Perception 14 anything nearby needing immediate attention?
The other major concern is the collapsed meeting house. It's not far from the shop in the center of town.
Between the bucket brigade and the fire breaks the fires are, at least, being controlled from spreading if not being completely put out.

Any trapped people or nearby fire?
There's no fire and looking at the destruction you doubt anyone could have survived but you can't be sure from just looking from the top.

"You know I thought finding a fresh one was a starting point...." Estes will look to Saada before climbing down
"Well, at least we don't have look for one out in the wilderness." Saada shrugged before climbing down after Estes.
Vail will climb down with Estes and Saada if only for the sake to incestigate a fresh sinkhole.
what do we see at the bottom? Are we standing on the roof? Can we get inside through the roof maybe?
