"Well, I think," Natasha starts, turning her head to look at her. "You're on your way to making a lot of friends, 'cause I see a big heart behind all that muscle and war knowledge." The ranger chuckles lightly, then says "I'm sure any girl would wanna kiss you, you know? You're beautiful and you give pretty good cheek kisses! Déjame saber si quieres practicar besar usando mis labios, ¿de acuerdo?" Natasha laughs uncontrollably at the last statement, quickly apologizing and waving it off. "Don't ask what I just said, that's really embarrassing! I'm going to hang back a little bit to cool off, if you don't mind!" The elf is a fit of giggles as she starts slowing down to hang behind the rest of the group.

Misha gives Tasha a look of curious wonder and smiled, even though she didn't understand a word she said. She watches you fall back and secretly wished the conversation didn't have to end, and her heart sank a bit. She says nice things about you, Mish, but..giggles, and then walks away, like a butterfly you cannot catch? She looked forward after a moment, and looked down, frowning, quietly wondering if something was wrong with her to make Tasha giggle at her so much. She struggled to understand.

Maybe the Genesis Chambers left..something out..in her programming that caused her not to understand. Like an upgrade she felt like she was missing. She was lost in thought for a bit.

((I don’t want to meta game so I was curious if Jill is keeping her talking axe generally to herself or if Oni would know about it. I know you told Misha and Natasha but I’m not sure if Oni would know))

At some point Oni will go over and talk to Jill. ”Hey Jill, back at the caves you told us the axe was demonic. Is the curse binding or are you willingly weilding it? I have some knowledge on curses and I can learn about removing the curse if you’d like.”

"I do not wield this axe voluntarily. It has its uses, but it is still a weapon that has a demon attached to it."

”When we get into town I will read more into it. It might take me a while but that demon won’t reside in that axe for very long.”

"To be honest, I'm less interested in separating the demon from the axe and more interested in separating the axe from me. I'd rather not have there be a demon running around."

”I misspoke, since the item is binded to you, removing the curse will cause it to unbind. The demon will still possess the item, but it won’t have a hold on you. Then we can discard it somewhere no one will find it.”

((Just to clarify, these conversations are taking place during people's shifts on watch? I'm just trying to work out where we are and what Grum is doing. A lot of conversation happened whilst I was asleep due to time zone difference, so I think Grum's watch has already passed by without incident. I'm not going to roll back time to add anything in between conversations, just trying to work out the current situation. Other than taking shifts on watch, are we long resting?))

((It hasn’t really been clarified. Conversations are happening simultaneously on the forum over the different shifts due to the nature of PbP. I don’t think the timeline of the conversations need to be clarified unless something happens story wise but that’s up to the DM))

(Jill is taking the final watch, but I imagine that she's resting when not doing her watch. I'm pretty sure that her conversations with Misha and Oni are happening during her shift).

The wooden cart rattles north down the dirt road, pulled by a sturdy pony of a breed beloved by halflings. You continue to travel long after night has fallen, with the knowledge that the nearest settlement is no more than five miles distant, as a wooden sign buried in the dirt beside the road indicates.

The settlement of Whittle is little more than a populated trading post. It was originally constructed to encourage trade between the human kingdom of Avalon and the dwarven kingdom of Stoengrim, but it has seen little activity over the last decade. Whittle consists of a congregation of wooden buildings and an abandoned trading hub, which stands in the center of town.

There are no guards or watchmen to challenge your arrival, and at first glance Whittle appears deserted. Then a man, clearly half drunk, shuffles up to you from the shadows. "Strangers, eh?" He hiccups. "Good job I found you before Leon's gang did. This ain't no night to be (hic) out in the streets alone."

"Then what are you doing walking them alone this night my friend."

Oni slowly pulls a dagger from the back of his belt and keeps it ready in his hand but hides it from view. ((Are we level 3 yet or still 2?))
