While he’s looking around he is chuckling to himself silently saying, ”Gang of Misha. That’s definitely not the worst name, but it’s far from the best.”
The man is in no state to walk properly, much less answer questions. He staggers drunkenly through the deserted streets, muttering to himself and rubbing at his perpetually runny nose. When he suddenly ducks into a side alley, your fears are given validation by the emergence of three men. The "drunk" man grins from the shadows of the alley, content to watch the spectacle from a distance.
One of the men, a tall man with distinctively large ears, strides towards you, a chipped and rusted shortsword hanging from his belt. "No one comes in or out of this town wivout Leon's permission." He snarls in a nasally tone. "A stinkin' half-orc, free women... " He grins and eyes Misha. "Free women, a man, and a tiefling. Nah, Leon definitely didn't say nuffin about you six." He pauses and squints at Oni. "I reckon you're that tiefling wot's on the posters. There's a decent bounty on your head, my friend. "
Oni steps towards the front of the group, right in the mans face. ”Maybe I am, more the reason for you to go back into your hole and forget you saw us. Or you could take the risk of trying to kill us, but you better be sure you can, because if not...” Oni trails off from his sentence as uses Mask of Many Faces to make himself look like the man. ”Things could get really complicated for you.”
(Not sure if you want me to make an Intimidation check but here’s one just in case)
The man smiles grimly. "Ain't nobody threatens me." He snaps his fingers and an arrow comes whistling down from one of the rooftops, taking Oni by surprise.

Natasha had stayed relatively close to Misha as they followed the drunkard, keeping quiet at how uncomfortable she was in this situation and had found slight safety being near the paladin. Why are we following him in the first place? She thought, just let him trip in an alley somewhere, wait for the alcohol to wear off... This is probably an ambush.
The elf's fears were correct at seeing more men emerge from the shadows and she hoped they could dissuade the situation before it got any worse--
And there's the arrow.

Misha tilts her head as Jill speaks, a look of deep concentration and mild surprise on her face. She straightens up, and considered what you said.
"Huh!" She says, amused, "Not what I learn in books! Good to know." She then turns to the men, "Ok. I mek thees easy for you three, because clearly you suffer from damage in brain. Take best shot, ya? Then squash you under boot like leetle gross insect."
She could feel Natasha behind her, and Jill close by as well. She steeled herself for the attack.
The Armies of Hell were winning.
While the Legions of Acheron made their claim in the cosmos and found their place among the Planes, they acquired technology from conquered civilizations that gave them the knowledge and technology to create soldiers to use in The Great War against the Armies of Hell: genetically created humans. In order to work, the technology of the Genesis Chambers required souls and magic to successfully operate, and Acheron was ripe with both - the souls of the dead soldiers that found their way to the Plane, combined with the spiritual magic of the Technomancers.
By the Will of the Great Lord General Bane, specific soldiers were created for different purposes. Legion Commander Taetanicus was responsible for training those soldiers who were birthed as "Outer Plane Operatives" - those that would fight the War on the Plane from without. Misha was created with specific talents, knowledge, skills, and specifications - and by His Will - was birthed from a single Origination Cell by the miracle of the Genesis Chamber. For her first 7 years of life, she was raised by a woman who's name would not matter. There were no tears shed when Misha was separated from that woman to live the rest of her training in Banehold.
It was years later when Taetanicus told her two facts: (Translated into Common)
"Before you were created, the genetic material used in your construction was scrutinized heavily in order to give you exactly what you needed to succeed as an Operative. Therefore, you lack two emotional realms: One, the inquisitive nature and fondness for family. You have no parents, and who raised you until you reached the Age of Comprehension does not matter.
WE are your family.
Two. By the Will of Bane you were created complete, you have all the organs any other human would have, and this includes reproductive organs. However, you will not have the distractions of the yearning to love and feel the warmth and closeness of another. Our survival is at stake. A mind that wanders leads to questions, and doubt. This is forbidden."
"As you will, Legion Commander." Misha kneeled and bowed, and it would years later after that, when she set her eyes upon Natasha, did she indeed have those feelings, and was scared, because they did feel natural.

The Battlefield: You are situated in a wide cobblestone street, flanked on the right and left by leaning wooden buildings. The thug leader and two thugs stand ten feet away, face-to-face with Oni. The hidden archer is located on the roof of one of the buildings to your left. The man who led you into the trap has ducked into the shadows of the side alley behind the three thugs. Anyone who wishes may roll Perception to spot the hidden archer, contested by her Stealth. (Stealth: 20)
The man stares at Kelric in horror. "Waukeen's undergarments, you're right! Let's (hic) get outta here!" He stumbles off, muttering wildly.
"He's a right lunatic, make no mistake." Flibbertigibbet remarks. "You mortals and your alcohol."
Jill, the man does not appear to be a threat.

La Bande de Misha. Jill muses. It seems like every adventuring party needs a nickname and that sounds like it would be as good a name as any.
