Felicity is not being so stealthy. You all can notice a distinct sulfur smell once inside the cave and out of the fresh air. Halizthan is the only one who notices anything else.
Halizthan: You notice that the center path smells different. More pungent. You also see that there's scratches and claw marks on the floor and walls. There's 2 distinctly different sized claw marks. One set of marks is much smaller than the rest.
"Some of these claw marks are smaller so either there is a young dragon or it is some other beast that has claws sharp enough to leave these." Halizthan says to them in a low voice.
"That could be the case but keep a look our for any young ones. They may be weaker then a fully grown dragon but they are just as dangerous I would imagine." Halizthan says as he continues to scan the area.
Felicity will trace one of the larger claw marks with her hands. "Hmm looks like it's probably a grown dragon alright. Let's hope these smaller ones are from the earlier dragon"
Continuing along the tunnel the smell of sulfur growing stronger with every step, Rend, being out front, is the first to notice that the passageway starts to open up and the ceiling starts to rise.
Halizthan: You don't notice anything out of place so to say but with the roof and the passage opening up you have a feeling you may be getting close to a lair. At the same time you're thinking about that you realize you're all kind of in a choke point. (From what it looks like from past post Rend is out front with Tauriel behind him. J'Anna keeping off to the side and Halizthan in the back?)
Rend would continue to push farther inward... scanning the area for threats and trying to find the dragon. "Come out dragon...." rend would mutter through his clenched eeth.
Rend makes his way further in. As soon as you get into the larger cave opening you can see a couple things looking around. First it's a massive chamber. Judging by what you can see of it so far you'd guess at least 150'. The roof slopes away out of your sight range in height. Looking to your right you see ledge about 40' off the ground with a large red dragon sitting on it. She hisses out in common "Come in little dragon mutt. You and your friends. I'd like to get a better look at you all"
Felicity hearing her invitation just flies but stays a good distance from Rend so they aren't in fire breath formation. "Hey Dragon are you a boy or a girl?"
"Why don't you come down here so we can talk!" Rend would shout up towards the dragon. "We came across a red dragon on our way here... he gave us a message for you." the kobold would say making his way into the room closer to the ledge where the dragon is sitting.

J'Anna will also still be moving forward slowly, ready to engage if needed, and staying as spread out as possible in the tight cave space.

"Maybe we already took care of the younger dragon... " Rend will say looking back over his shoulder.

"Not to mention, if there is a younger one, I am sure the mother will fighter ever harder to protect it." J'Anna comments
"I was hoping that no one would bring that up..." Halizthan says as he readies himself for whatever may be ahead.
