Alesandair will re-cast light upon his shield as to be able to see in the rough thickets and follow the group with Bacon.
*Speaking aimlessly because on a scale of 1-9 he's feeling about 33.3333% ;)* "No need to worry about me, Ayra, the Quori spirit in me wouldn't allow me to fall before my mission on this plane is realized."
"I would not be surprised if we walked in to a trap. Right now we are safer in a group, but my main concern after your safety, is the safety of those younglings."
"I'd like to say that I worry about nothing, but look where we were at the beginning of this day." He thinks about the bar he was in, the interview and that damned bird. He has found both the bird and Ayra to have been helpful and full of surprises. "The biggest danger is when we think we have it all figured out. That's when fate shows us to be fools."
"Do you feel we are duty-bound to remain with the little ones and leave this our companions to attend to their employer's business? I have been asking myself that sine we were first awoken."
"That's why, against all reason, I ran off into the woods by myself chasing these creatures. I thought they were after the younglings. I feel that Moyba and others are very protective of them and that by placing them in competent protection, I am fulfilling my responsibility. However I am torn and I wish to be finished with this traipsing through the woods business as soon as possible."
Bacon leads you to a large trunked stumpy looking tree in a small clearing offset from the rest of the forest by a moonlit halo. "Me and Mud was pilin' them crates there. It was easy at first with them jar things gettin' yur attention." Pointing to Al, "That last one was gonna make 5, but Blackbird was eyes-opened."
You all note only 2 crates left in the dark, "Well imma sorry... It's lookin' like they done snatched and ran...or flied"
He looks at you all suddenly, and says in his deep, gravelly voice, "You all isn't gonna hurt me now... is ya? I...I..I'll carry one of the crates back, just don't be hurtin' me none p-p-please."
"You reckon the Merchant will be satisfied with this or should we attempt to recover all of the crates? Generally, I'm not satisfied with partially completing a mission, but I am feeling a little woozy from being these guys' target practice."
Silv'ar is with you as well as Morn,(... but the players will likely not return. We will see if Morn's played comes back. I plan to work the characters out if the party gets to the Spires)
Responding to Alessandair's question: "Wraeven and I have only just met your employer. The rest of you may be better positioned to address the question of what would satisfy his expectations. If, however, we decide to return without resolving the issue of Mud and Mayfly, we likely will not get much more rest before morning."
She then points out the trail of footprints and drops of blood to the rest of the party. "It appears they went in that direction, and they are both injured."
...Bacon, doesn't seem to hear you at first, focused on picking up a case and trying to be useful... You know...to avoid dying, but after taking a moment, your words register, "I'm not sure, we kinda moves around, we got a few tents yonder a ways." Pointing in the direction Ayra sees the footprints.
"It was just the four of us, but my brother and me was just following Gravel ... who was following Mayfly" Despite his large frame and deep voice, you notice him look off to the side and his shoulders quiver a bit, as his voice comes a bit, "He always was taken care of us....maybe.... Maybe, if we find them...I mean you all are seemin' real nice, and I'm real sorry about all this trouble... But maybe you'd let me try to talk to Mud while you take care of mean Mayfly? He doesn't really like to fight."
"If Mayfly charms us or Bacon, we've got a whole different situation on our hands. Do you think we should have Bacon try to get Mud away from her? Should we attack her at the same time?"

Agozur will take his place near "Bacon" and just ready a trip attack for anything shady that happens.
Ayra slows her step to walk with Wraeven, who seems to be following reluctantly.
"You appear hesitant. Do you think we should not follow this creature?"
"I would not be surprised if we walked in to a trap. Right now we are safer in a group, but my main concern after your safety, is the safety of those younglings."
"Yes, that is true. Do you think there is a risk to them?

[Asking Ayra, Wraevan, and Agozur}

[oc: in the story, what happened/is happening to Silv’air?]
[i believe he is also with us, at least he was when we were fighting the bugbears and harpy]
Ayra ponders Alessandair's question while visually scanning the surrounding forest and sky for any signs of Mayfly and Mud.

To Bacon: "Where would they have taken the missing crates?"

You can see heavy footsteps leading off in a direction, as well as a few drops of blood.

"Should we get the few crates we found back to the camp and regroup before taking on the camp?" He asks the group.
Then turning to bacon, "How many more of you are there? Or is it just the two left?"
