Cragmyre Ironseed, earth genasi ancestral barbarian 3 ● Cyrus Natriallae, aquatic half-elf warlock of the deep 3
As Thorok starts to speak Ackam scratches his left butt cheek and nods along, but then interrupts, "oye, Thorok, I dink you got one ding wrong, but I remember dat da Thieves Guild are also wantin' this problem to go away as fast as possible. Dey don't want dings being disrupted just like any else."
If the thieves guild is so embroiled in this then Nimbus is certainly the best course of action. Eldritch visions be damned let's get to the bottom of this, it's not like I haven't already been smothered in .... tentacles.Agency gets nauseous just from the thought but tries to hold it in.
Well, with these license on hand, thank you by the way. I think we might as well be off to Nimbus. There’s nothing to lose by having a little...chat with Nimbus in my opinion.
Mikkael listens to Thorok and responds You’re mostly right, Thorok, if I’m understanding you correctly... except for Renzton being a she, he’s a he. And Yes, Ackam is correct about the Thieves’ guild, they’re doing their best to put an end to this as quickly as possible.
Agency, you manage to keep it down, but you definitely have water mouth.
It’s approaching 10 o’clock as you cross town back over to the Eagle’s Roost, the streets are dark and mostly deserted. As you turn a corner youbhear a scream and see two cloaked figures wrestling with a struggling woman.
"Hmm, so then it seem there might be a fly in teh potion as far as teh thieve's guild is concerned," Earthhand comments before proceeding, pondering his visions while puffing on his druidcraft-lit kenabi pipe and thumping his enchanted shillelagh with a with a renewed carefreeness, confident with his new magic license that he won't run into trouble for it. As the party make their way through the dusk covered city toward Eagle's Roost, the druid looks up with a start at the scream. "OH NO YEH DON'--!"He roars, swinging his shillelagh forward. "Friends! ter arms!"
Still wiping her chin from some wretch residue, Agency hears the scream and Earthhand's call to action. Using her Dark Vision she clearly sees the struggle and using her unarmored speed immediately breaks into a run to tackle one of the men.
Varris is in a deep corner of his mind, lost in thought on the nature of Eldritch, Celestial, and their interference with the races of Etheria when a wretched scream brings his thoughts back to the mortal plane. Seeing his companions Agency and Thorok dart forward, Varris casts Light onto his left hand to give himself and the group a more clear picture of the scene they have stumbled upon.
With his left hand raised to light his path and his right hand ready to bring Mishakal's divine judgement on the unknown assailants, he advances behind the Tiefling and Dwarf. With divine righteousness bubbling through his veins, Varris yells unhand her you vile cur!
Ackam slaps his forehead as he sees his compatriots rush into battle to help save the women being accosted by two shadow figures. "Ah, fer feck sake,"he says to no one in particular and lifts his great battle axe for combat. He turns to Bastion and says, "I got a bad feelin' about dis,"and then charges into battle screaming "for Gandor!" at the top of his lungs.

"It does not sound like a scream of joy."
BASTION's body begins to shift as it prepares for battle - the already hulking figure now taking on imposing heft around its shoulders and fists. It smashes its fists together and prepares to strike.

Agency charges at the cloaked figure closest to her launching herself at him in a flying tackle. At the last moment the figure releases the woman and turns to Agency 26 he braces for the impact and attempts to grapple her 9 the cloaked figure wrestles with Agency as the woman’s screaming reaches a frantic state. The screaming begins to sound almost musical and then extremely theatrical before turning into laughter. The woman throws her head back and laughs.
I didn't think it would be quite so easy to catch you lot. You should feel proud of yourselves, though. Your meddling has risen from a mild annoyance to our master to him deciding to actively step in to put a stop to it. To draw his attention is an honor in itself, one that you won't enjoy for long, but still. She shrugs then throws her arms out wide and a dagger appears in her hand as if by magic while the nails on her other hand extend into vicious looking claws. Come on then, heroes, let's be about it.
Once I get everybody's initiative roll we'll get started! In the mean time anyone who wants to can roll to try and figure out what your dealing with.
So, shall we head to see Nimbus?
((Think that was for the other campaign ;) ))
