As you row out to the Gull's Wing the last of the mists burn off of the bay. The rowboat pulls up along side the sleek ship and deckhands throw a rope ladder down to you. A tall dark skinned man leans over the rail.
Nimbus! You stinking sneak thief, what have you brought to befoul my deck?
Issa, you whoreson of a pirate, this group will take the place of me and mine on this voyage. Fear not, they come highly recommended. You take them where you were to take me and I'll pay you what we agreed upon.
Fair is fair, any friends of yours.. Come aboard, my hearties!
As you climb aboard the ship you see the deck bustling in the early morning light. Alright, you dogs! We need to set sail now, the tide waits for no man, we'd best be under way if we're to be there on the morrow. Nimbus, I'll come find you when we return to collect my payment.
Two ales my friend, and a night at the courtesan's palazzo! You shall have it!
Nimbus begins rowing back for the docks, he gives you one last wave as he leaves.
Within minutes the Gull's Wing is slicing through the Great Inner Sea and towards Bolan's Rest. Issa Bolara is the captain of the ship, Jayce Argonas, the weather wizard is consulting his crystal. Bael, the hafling firstmate is walking the deck, laying into the crew. Tibus, a huge minotaur, is enjoying the sea air as he leans against the railing, and up in the rigging above Garda, a half sea elf watches the horizon. How do you spend the rest of the morning?
"Hehe yeh don' say, Oi had teh same thought meself." Earthhand tosses the rope through the air to the Tabaxi.
Flashback to the rowboat:
Nimbus snatches the rope out of the air and turns it over in his hands. Knotthe rope flies into knots every foot or so unknot and it flies back into a neat coil. As I thought, this is a rope of climbing this should come in handy for you... I wish I could help with the potions, but they’re beyond me.
I love the crew. What was the result of my druidcraft weather prediction? Also is everyone OK with me holding onto the rope? I figure it'll get used out of combat mostly and anyone's welcome to use it
Earthhand, you get the sense that there will be fair weather for the day, you feel there may be a storm tonight depending on how the wind blows, but nothing serious.
Agency scampers up the mast of the ship and introduces herself to Garda. She has some pretty good eyes and thinks that she would contribute best up here. Quite the view you have. You can see everything. And everyone can probably see you. She looks around and waves at her companions below, with her tail ofcourse. She turns back to Garda. Do you mind if I join you here for the trip?

While on the rowboat, Thorok will take the opportunity to examine the potions.
Arcana: 4
As the rowboat pulls up and the party climp the rope ladder onto the ship, Earthhand casts a sly look about the party. "Alrigh' then, we're off. Leh's mingle, shall we?" He saunters up to Jayce Argonasand leans up against his staff as the wizard consults his crystal. "Faer weather weh'll be havin' tooday. Oi certainly hope teh winds blow teh brewin' storm away 'afore nightfall." He gives the wizard a conspiratorial wink.
Idk if I'm going crazy, but I coulda sworn I had a 14 before editing
The half-elf smiles upon seeing Agency so agilely make her way up the rigging. Not at all, the name’s Garda, it does get somewhat lonely up here. Of course it gets a little overmasculine down there, though so... what takes you all to Bolan’s Rest? Garda’s pale blue skin seems even more bright in the morning sun, you can see faint gills beneath her short cropped green hair when she turns her head.
BASTION makes its way below deck and find a part of the boat that seems to be the most stable.
Bastion makes its way down into the hold. After a while it sees a pair of eyes in the darkness behind some crates and a silver tabby cat makes its way out of the shadows to investigate the hulking construct.
While on the rowboat, Thorok will take the opportunity to examine the potions.

Back in the rowboat: Thorok examines the potions and determines one is a potion of strength of some kind, the other is definetly Fire related.
On the Gull’s Wing: Jayce looks at Thorok a bit surprised. Oh, yes, hello. I came to the same conclusion myself... he looks Earthhand up and down. You’re a Druid, are you not? Do your powers work upon the ocean? I find your profession fascinating. I’m sorry, I’m Jayce Argonas, Sea Mage.

Ackam does his best to help Nimrod with rowing the boat toward the Gull's WIngs and before they go up onto the ship he looks back at the tabaxi and nods his head before scampering up onto the deck of the Gull's WIngs.
On board Ackam seems at home. The whole time he walks around with a shit eating grin and walks up to Captain Issa Bolara and puts out his hand and says, "what fine ship ya have here Cap'n. I used to be a first mate me-self back on da The Wind Surfer. You eva hear of her?"
Ackam, if possible, helps out on the ship where need be (OOC - would that be a [Tooltip Not Found] check?), and will go over to Bael and watch the halfling work (Perception: 15) to see how well the halfling works the crew and the ship.

Since Ackam was a Pirate in his previous life and if the DM thinks it's fair, I think Ackam should be an advantage on his strength test. If so, and if that handsome and wise DM does allow it here is my reroll:

Issa laughs with genuine enthusiasm at Aedra's Huzzah. Ha hah! Welcome aboard the Gull's Wing, my lady, fastest ship on the Great Inner Sea! Crewed by the finest group of miscreants you'll ever meet!
Tibus roars with laghter. And Don't forget the miscreant who captains her!
Marveling at the way the sun hit her blue skin Agencywas speechless for a moment. Then she caught eye of Garda's gills and snapped back and slightly shook her head with a smile. Oh you know just taking care of another man's problem.Honestly, she clenches her fists and presses them against each other horizontally they're lucky I was made for this. She reminisces about her exploits. Anyway, we are off to deal with an issue that's concerning to one of the 13, Nimbus. Some sort of brute in a temple. Have you heard anything about it?
“By teh by, as far as curiousity goes, Oi’ve always beenee roit envious o’ wizard’s spell o’ identification, thinkee yeh’cd help a fellow user o’ magick what lacks proper powers o’ teh arcane?”
Jayce eyes the pipe skeptically. It's a bit early for me, and I do have some responsibilities as the ship's Mage so I'm afraid I'll have to abstain for now. Perhaps later? Certainly, let me see what you have. Jayce takes your potions and examines them. Ah, here you have a potion of hill giant strength and a potion of fire breath these should prove quite useful in your endeavors! He lowers his voice a bit. And do keep me in mind later with that kenobi, I'd like to get high with a druid to be sure.
