(Alteria made a good point, Alteria, Narissa, and Jared all have darkvision, but I'm not gonna post 2 maps, so Tungol and Somnnier, unless you have lights or fire, just... you don't see as far, you have... let's say 10 feet of vision past the mouth of the cave.)
Rules for barricades going forwards, they're shitty and wooden, but effective. Barricades require 15 ft of movement to surmount in the opposite direction they face, act as half-cover, can be destroyed, have 10HP, and are weak to fire.
Hardly. A few miles from town, I find a pile of dead goblins and horses, in an area with bandit problems, with clear tracks on a trail where nature has marked the path of the wicked.
Trade is good, and I'd rather not see the are fall into even worse turmoil. That and the commission I'll get if I can find the missing supplies.
Pocketing all but a handful of the stones, I reach around to my back and stretch it out, with great effort.
So, who wants a little speed boost?
(Didn't realize at first you meant to change this)
I've no problem with this, but how do we keep our unsavory friends in there from sneaking out and killing us in our sleep? Some of us will have to keep watch. I'd like to at least keep the first watch, but I would appreciate assistance.
By the by, would any of you happen to have some rope on them? I didn't quite bring enough, and could sure use some.
Hmm... would have preferred a bit more time to prepare some tastey treats, but alright, just let me know when you're ready to go, and I'll make an... opening for you.
I then go to give some of my pebbles to the dwarf.
"Ok, if we're hellbent on going in I say we get some digging supplies from the carts and tunnel down from above since they know we're coming. Anyone who want to join is welcome to come."
"Actually I don't think checking the cargo is a bad idea. I'd like to see if there are any health potions in there as well, I'll come with you." I follow after Jared down the trail.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As Jared and Alteria walk off towards the trail, Tungol and Narissa run up to the mouth of the cave to reinforce Prolvic.
G1: ATK: 20 DMG: 7
Goblin 1, confused with this new entry, readies a shot and fires, unfortunately, it falls short of Prolvic by a few feet.
Prolvic then replies in kind with the spread of a fog bank inside the cave
Narissa:
From inside the cave you can now see deeper in. you can make out the 2 distinct shapes of goblins on a bridge some distance ahead, whispering to each other, and staring directly back at you. a simmer of fury and intrigue in their eyes.
I lower my bow eyeing the newcomer,
”Sorry about that, most people we’ve encountered so far were... not so cooperative. What brings you here? This place is far from the trail.”

Somnnier Prolvic - A happy merchant of the world.
(I have a lot of torches, if we need them)
"Our dwarf appears to be in the cave. He could pay you. After saving."
"I think we need to rest before entering. And we are entering."
Tungol

“Jared and I are just taking a short rest, it’s not like we are camping here. We got into a little skirmish and want to regain strength.”
I sit back down to continue my meditation
"I could use a short rest to recover a little from our last encounter too."
Alteria
Alright, that's 3 for a short rest.
Alteria, can you roll a d8 to determine how many hit points you get back?
Hmm... would have preferred a bit more time to prepare some tastey treats, but alright, just let me know when you're ready to go, and I'll make an... opening for you.

And hold on to these, you'll want them.

Alteria
Alright then, you've finished your short rest, when you're ready, tell me your actions (map is the same as before, I'll post a new one in a bit)
I'd like to move just inside the mouth of the cave, and cast Fog Cloud 4 tiles north.
Somnnier Prolvic - A happy merchant of the world.
Prolvic moves forward to the position (but isn't quite able to act yet!)

I draw my bow, moving towards the mouth of the cave 30 ft, clearly deep in thought.
I'll get a torch ready to go and move up, but staying behind Narissa.
Tungol
A small smirk creeps onto my face as I point my finger at Jared and Alteria and cast Message
Tungol (action still available)
Alteria
Jared
Narissa
Goblin 1
Prolvic
