Grathart drops to his knees, grabs hold of his holy symbol and begins recalling his memory of the Bear. His heart begins to race as he once again hears the echoing of the Bears roar, and his mind mind see's it racing towards him from across the stream. "Life giver protect" he whispers as his transformation begins again. In his mind he feels the hot breath of the bear on his flesh, the smell of it's fresh kill on it's breath. He opens his eyes and roars, his new bear form complete. Grathart charges forward, ending beside Nalla, lunging his attack with tooth and nail.

OOG Argent I realised now one thing, sorry for this. Theoretically, you can't have both Beast Bond and Hunter's Mark on. They require concentration.

(OOC - hmm ok - spell casting is new to me, I come from the old school where rangers are just melee fighters)

(OOC - Also - I didn't cast hunter's mark this encounter either - but I'll remember that for the next ones :) )

OOC: Concentration, ugh, I was also forgetting about this. In the first battle with Barkskin up, that requires concentration and so I should have made a constitution check when I was hit for damage.

(OOC - I don't like that the spell descriptions don't tell you they are concentration - you're just apparently supposed to know that because it has a duration that you must concentrate up to that long for it to work?
