Storm King's Thunder + Against the Giants

Marshmellow wakes up....sees Bearthart and Rockhand, gets up (displacing Erakas in the process) and wanders over and plops down in a big furry goliath bear pile and falls back asleep.

Erakas snorts a bit and decides to check on the wagon and the progress of the blizzard.

[After 3 hours the blizzards passes. The adventurers can continue their way to Ironmaster.]

Bearhart (OOC: I really like that the animal forms get appended to 'hart' this should be continued for sure :D) waited till he believed Rockhand was fully passed out and then began to release himself from her hold, it took a bit to worm his way out, but with Marshmellow provided a suitable replacement. He made his way over to the cold water and drank from it's cold contents. He then reverted back to his Dwarven form and took a position against the edge of the cave and finished his rest.

OOC: I believe we were doing a long rest correct?

Correct.

OOG So, May I assume you are back on the road, or do you want some time first?

(OOG Just as long as we get a long rest in... want to have my powers if we run into any more troubles...lol) 

OOG Yes the long rest you already took it.

(OOC - I'm sanding my hardwood floors today so my posts are limited, but yes I assume if its not night, then we continue on to Ironmaster)

Ren gets the wagon and Chip and Chop ready for their journey to Ironmaster. He fills up his waterskins in the pond, takes one last look at the cave and jumps onto the wagon. "C'mon friends, we have a lot of traveling to do and it's best that we get to it."

"With the blizzard passed, the morning presents itself quite sunny and clear, although the cold is still a factor. At noon, from a distance of 200 feet, you can spot a bridge which allows you to cross the river Shaengarne. At the other side of the river, you spot also a group of 5 small humanoids."

Perception check to see if they are armed and possibly dangerous? ( 11 )

"From this distance, Ren can-t completely be sure, but they could be halflings or gnomes. They wear grey cloaks. You can go to meet them, or the party can choose to avoid them."

Erakas says 'let us see who else travels this lonely route"

(OOC - does it look like they've spotted us yet?)

Erakas offers to scout them out ahead of the party if they haven't been spotted yet.

"I say we meet them, not all travelers are villains. And if they are, well, we are well rested and can take on any sizeable threat standing next to one another...and Rockhand." Ren says with a smile as he is eager to go meet these small creatures across the bridge. "But, scout if you must, my friend."

Erakas, you can scout ahead, they seems unaware of your presence. Make a Stealth check.

"A ranger out roaming the wilds with his companion will appear normal.  Better safe than sorry.  I'll shout if trouble arises, otherwise wait for my signal."

Erakas and Marshmellow head off down the trail to the bridge.

Erakas succeeds in getting close to the group unseen. Ther are a group of 5 Halfling and seem scouts.
