Erakas and Marshmellow come out of the woods near the bridge and start to cross it, making sure they are visible to the rest of his party.

A dwarf with a canoe on his back? What could go wrong?
The leader of the Halfling group, a female, notices the dragonborn and approaches him. "Howdy traveller. What does bring you here? Where are from? Do you need help?"
"Well met! We're just on our way to Ironmaster from Bryn Shander. What brings you folk out this way?" Erakas smiles...well ok, he's a dragonborn so it more looks like a toothy grin.

"We are scouts from Bryn Shande'. Seraphina, my name is, and these are my trusted companions. Townspeake' Shane sent us checking nearby settlements fo' sign of giants. We are just coming from Ironmaster. No sign of giants ther', lucky them. And who would you be, maste' Dragonborn?"
"Names Erakas, and this here is Marshmellow. Pleasure to meet you and yours." Erakas nods at Seraphina.

OOG Not exactly their fault. The scout has a +5 Perception modifier plus Keen sight and hearing...
"Let's go friends. Townspeaker Shane sent the little fellows out and about to look for Giants." Ren will push the wagon forward, looking around this peaceful area and towards the new little people they are meeting. "Maybe if we're lucky they have some useful information."

He turns to Seraphina and says "Can never be too cautious these days on the road." Marshmellow sneezes.
