Storm King's Thunder + Against the Giants

(OOC - haha aren't we a motley crew to be reckoned with! The Bear and the Goliath Fair!)

"I am afraid I have not, but the Giants are an ancient race, and I know Dwarves have been in conflict with them for eons. 'twould be a surprise to me if this were the first time they got their breeches in a bunch" Grathart makes sure to serve everyone breakfast as they join Ren and himself, "...that being said my guess would be that this Artus Cimber, did them some great wrong, for them to mount attacks of this magnitude. I am awaiting information from my Enclave, they may know more."

Grathart will help Ren when he goes to maintain the horses, and then will make ready for travel.

"If I had to guess that Artus Cimber fellow stole the ring of winter from the giants and they want it back."

Erakas grins and nods at Rockhand

"Marshmellow and I can share a link with our minds, she imparted her name to me through that....perhaps I can ask Marshmellow to ask our ice bear friend if they have a name."

Erakas grabs Marshmellow by her fuzzy ears and stares deep in to her eyes and casts beast bond

"Our goliath friend has a request....she wants to know if you can find out if our new bear friend has a name" he mentally asks Marshmellow.

Marshmellow looks over at Grathart and back at Erakas - her thoughts are puzzling.

"No, not Grathart, our white friend...." he nods towards the polar bear.

Marshmellow nods and walks over to the polar bear.  She makes a collection of bear noises, a head butt, and a few sniffs.

(OOC - since filcat brought the bear to us - I'll leave the naming up to them if its possible)

(OOC - crap I could have just cast beast bond on the polar bear - but I think what I did makes better RP :P )

"Her name is Snowfall," Ren says. Looking at Garthart so only he can see him and winking. "And I'm not saying Giants haven't had days where they've gone off into the deep and attacked, but this seems different. I just wish we had more information. I hate not knowing, it drives me mad."

(OOC - HAHAHA busted!)

(OOG Oh that did say privately...sorry :P I wouldn't mentally eavesdrop, that's not Ren's style with his friends.)

Marshmellow nods at Snowfall and comes back to Erakas.

She imparts the image of freshly falling snow through their link, and nods towards the polar bear.

"Snowfall?" he inquires and she nods her head enthusiastically.

Erakas nods, and turns to Rockhand "Rockhand, may I introduce to you Snowfall..." he indicates towards the polar bear and ruffles Marshmellows ears.

(OOC - something like Queen Frozen Water From the Sky and ruler of all that she walks upon would have been funnier - hahaha)

"How long until our next destination? I am excited to visit Luskan."

"You're the one that asked us to stop at Hundlestone first....are we not going there?"

OOG Two days to Hundelstone. So the party is on the road?

"Well, we are...but I don't know how long it takes to get there."
