OOC: With Wall spells, it says you can make a ring, but if I just make the 60ft long wall, does it have to be straight? Or can it zig zag? ;-)

Grathart makes a grabbing motion at the fire bouncing from the tips of the torches in the room as he begins to chant in Druidic, fire leaps from the torches and begins to form a wall across the room catching several of the drow warriors inside it, and trapping the others on the other side of it. (Wall of Fire cast at 5th level. DC 17 dex save for those initially in the wall and anyone who ends their turn within 10 feet of the hot side of the wall or enters the wall on a subsequent turn. 26 Fire damage for the initial ones caught)

The unexpected wall of fire catch three drow by surprise! Flames engulf them. One is skilled enough to partially avoid the spell.

The drow warrior (4) moves forward, out if the wall of fire. Still painfully burnt, fires the crossbow aiming at the devilish dwarf: Attack: 16 Damage: 9.

The bolt gets stuck in the wall, harmlessly.

(OOG Okay, this wall of fire...are our people still able to attack the drow through it? I want to use :

Overwhelming Attack (7 psi). As an action, choose up to five allies you can see within 60 feet of you. Each of those allies can use their reaction to take the Attack action. You choose the targets of the attacks.

But I'm not going to have them all take their attacks if they will catch on fire...lol If that's the case, I have something else up my sleeves... :D ) 

OOC They get fire if they go on the other side of the wall. Also, the wall is opaque, so if you want to attack through the wall, it counts as heavily obscured area (disadvantage on the attack roll).

OOC: So attacking someone who is standing in the wall doesn't hurt the attacker? (just confirming how I think I read that)
