Storm King's Thunder + Against the Giants

"Sadly, this whole giant business has apparently chased away a lot of the merchant caravans, so it sounds like we're on our own" Erakas voice rumbles in his chest.

Upon seeing Rockhand enter the shop Erakas asks "Rendaril, you mentioned mithril items, perhaps you might have a mithril greatxe or larger? I have a friend who could use an upgrade..."

(OOC - I can't think of anything we might need from here - outside of standard rations etc but felt compelled to actually look around the shop - and while mithril stuff would be nice - they come at a cost that Erakas doesn't have the money for at the moment.)

" Mitrhil greataxe...ehm...no. But I have dwarven greataxes treated with everbright. No pitting, rusting or tarnishing will ever attack your weapons, yes. "

"How much for this scrim and for that axe? Also, where can we find a wagon and some draft horses?"

" 5 gp for the scrimshaw and 50 go for the greataxe. I have some wagons in the back. That adds 35 gp. You can find draft horses at the stables on the western square. "

(OOC - I'm not one to frivolously spend mine or other players money on things I probably don't need - sure new better shiny weapons are nice - but if I can't generally hit anything with them - what's the point :P ) 

I trade the gem to him and get my change and say, "You'll need this, Rocky." Ren hands the ax to Rockhand.

(OOC - well depending on what filcat will allow - I found this information about everbright)

OOG According to SCAG, everbright is a dwarven technique to make weapons immune to rusting , pitting and tarnishing. Otherwise, it is a normal weapon. 

Erakas finds nothing else that interests him in the shop, but will help Ren with the wagon etc.

Grathart lounges against a wall in the store, having been mostly quiet during the days events. "I have never, rode a horse, or for that matter navigated a caravan, have any of you?"

"It can't be too hard," Ren says with a smile. The noosphere will provide, it always does. "And I am sure all of us will be very capable wagoneers."

OOG So, whenever you are ready I am prepared to throw sweet random encounters at you!

"I have no desire to ride a horse, and neither does Marshmellow....we're better off scouting the road ahead"

"Lets get our supplies loaded gather the rest of our charges and get this journey started.  Ogden said Ironmaster is on the road south, so we should stop there first."
