Storm King's Thunder + Against the Giants

Ren will start tying up the horses, brushing them and feeding them and then make his way into the cave after his friends. He walks into the cave and can smell the dampness, scrunches up his nose at the smell. He stops breathing and holds his breath, deciding to do so until they leave this stinky, stinky cave. Ren looks around for any signs of life. (OOG Survival 12 )

"This is where we're staying, huh?" Ren says as he walks deeper into the cave behind Erakas. "Bless you, Marshmellow."

"You're more than welcome to try your luck outside with the blizzard if you prefer." Erakas grins at Ren. "Even yeti aren't dumb enough to be out in those.....but that means this cave might not be safe, if we found it so can other things."

Grathart proceeds further into the cave, gathering any loose sticks, limbs, or whatever else there might be. If there is nothing in the cave he will venture back outside for a short bit to collect the necessary timber to make a fire that will allow them to outlast the storm.

Erakas lights a torch.

Grathart does not see any sign of recent passage in the cave. But he notices three distincted piles of snow in the cave, which it is quite strange since there is no snow in the cave. He realizes that those are not piles of snow when one of them open its eyes!

OOG (So, if I remember correcly, you all have taken a short rest, right?)

(OOC - yes I believe healing and hit dice were used after the yeti attack)

Erakas snarls as the pile of snow stares at him, and the hair on the back of Marshmellows neck stands up as she lets out a mighty "RAWR!"

(OOC - you're all good firehawk - I think Gmoat might not be around much either because his boss is in from out of town - we'll survive :) )

(OOG He doesn't seem to be around this morning, but apparently, he'll be back this afternoon. So, no worries, Firehawk. Also, didn't we do a long rest? Because it took her hours to skin the beasts? I need a long rest to get me points back...lol if not I only have 13 left for the day)

Ren will focus on Telepathic Contact and open up his mind to the noosphere. *Be wary friends and focus your attacks.*

(OOC - pretty sure it was just a short rest - which is why I was surprised you burned points healing me - skinning took 6 hours - we'd have had to sit another 2 for a long rest - and Rockhand was busy - so she wouldn't have gained any benefits from a long rest anyway)

OOG Hope Ren will not be swallowed by giant Ice Toads!...posting the combat tracker in half a hour or so.

(OOG Opps...lol well, at least your super healed up now! :D

And I ain't afraid of no ice toads! Wait, giant ice toads? Wtf? lol ) 

(OOC - any chance the toads are all within a nice 30 x 5 foot line? hehe)

Erakas draws his swords and casts Beast bond on Marshmellow

"Watch out! Giant....uhh......toads?" he shouts to the rest of the party as he advances on the ice toads (30 feet)
