Cobalt, entirely focused on following the tracks, fails to see the stalagmite that trips him. He tumbles over, cursing, and warns the others about the outcrop.
Garkin and Martina Scramble up the rocks and Martina is able to start helping the other two with their climb, allowing them to make it up to a small ledge with only a slight delay. You can see a few small rocks clatter against the cave wall and fall past you, and (if you have a passive perception higher than 12) you can see:
A small figure moving quietly across the wall of the cave about 25' above you.
Martina wraps her rope and secures it to her pack again. She attributes the loose rock activity to Enzo and Cobalt's clumsy climbing.
"Oi, careful. I thought we were tryin' ta pursue stealthily." She then hunkers down, as if speaking the words reminded her that they were trying to be quiet while they followed their targets.
Just as Cobalt raises his crossbow you see a stocky figure go tumbling down the cliff before hitting the ground with a wet crunch. Someone yells," Beardless son of a cave-bears runt!" from the darkness. A higher voice that sounds not nearly so accustomed to speaking dwarven says,"You're standing on a narrow ledge forty-fifty feet up a cliff. The birds think you won't do so well in a fight."
Martina silently moves left over the rough rock of the cave, toward where it sounded like you heard a voice from.
Martina:
You can see what might be a small figure clinging to the wall of the cave above you. Or is that just bumpy outcropping. It certainly looks like it could be a person, a dwarf maybe but the darkness plays tricks on the brain. At the very least it dosen't seem like anyone noticed you.
Wanting to get a better understanding of what's happening, Martina will start the climb upwards, still trying to be careful not to be seen or make too much noise.
Going further up will be another athletics check, simply because mistakes are loud, and falling off a cliff is a really good way to give yourself away.

OoC: there we go, I think I did it just after the website update which caused it to go wrong
Malal: it says dice rolls not available. If the dice tool isn't working add your athletics bonus to this (13) roll.

Enzo, in a hushed whisper calls up, "No worries! Take your time! I'm only dangling for my life here!"
Is this campaign still going on? It's slowed down to a halt.

"Quiet," Cobalt whispers whilst pointing at the figure ahead, "movement, over there." He loads a bolt into his crossbow and takes aim at the figure.

As Cobalt points into the darkness, Martina squints trying to make out what it is that Cobalt has found.

Seeing the figure, she'll stalk closer trying to get in range to cast a spell.
If she can make it within 90ft she'll cast sleep with the figure as the center of the sphere.
