All, Seldor would rather avoid an awkward situation with the Grung. He tells you all that he'll wait in a small cave about 5 minutes away from the Grung Village. He asks that you tell the Grung that he fought valiantly, but was gravely injured during the battle. As his life blood flowed to the ground around him, he managed to finish off the silent terror and save the Grung from its reign of blood. He died soon after, but not before speaking Princess Bri'Lo'Bri'Tcha's name with his final breath...
Or you can spin it however you like, I'll leave it up to you all to decide.
You reach the outskirts of the Village and are met by Grung scouts. Their eyes grow large and their mouths hang open as they see the huge corpse of the Silent Terror being hauled by a Giant Lizard. They quickly regain their composure and a few of them run off into the Village to alert Chief Ko. As you all enter the Village center, grung are beginning to pour into the area from their wooden huts among the trees. They air is filled with chirps, chirring, and croaks of astonishment at the sight of the dead tiger and the returned heroes. Through the crowd you can see Chief Ko in his ornate head dress, making his way toward you. He stands before his throne and slams his staff onto the ground, calling for silence. He looks at the corpse, then to you all. "It is done... Our people are saved... We owe you... Many thanks!" At this point, Princess Bri runs up to her father's side, scanning the crowd for Seldor. With a look of worry, she asks "Where Elf-man husband?"
Strife would lead the group back towards the village, holding the charred sabertooth in his hand. "Behold! We have defeated the Silent Terror!" The kobold would say pointing the long charred tooth towards the corpse on the back of the giant lizard. The kobold would remove his tricorn had with his other hand and wave it around while giving a small spin. "Live in fear no more my friend! We! your champions! have taken care of this dire threat!" Strife would shout as loudly as he can.
As the Princess asks about Seldor, Strife will hang his head... a look of sadness washing across his face. "I am sorry to tell you this... but Seldor wont be coming back" Srife will say as he holds the tricorn hat in both hands. "He fought hard and managed to deliver the killing blow to the beast but... the wounds he took were just too much... I uhh... I used my magic to burry him deep in the ground.... like.. really deep" Strife will say with a sour expression on his face. The kobold would feel like shit... and would truly be sorry... but not because of a dead companion... but because he didn't want to break the princesses heart. "I... I am really sorry to deliver this news.... I hate to break your heart.." Strife will say looking at the ground while wringing his hat in his hands.
Strife, Princess Bri's large eyes well with tears, but she fights them back and stands proudly and nods her head "Elf-man was... Brave warrior... Hero of the Grung! May his spirit watch over us... Thank you... For telling me the truth of his death..." and she hugs you tightly. You are now poisoned for the next hour.
Strife would return the hug, wincing slightly as he feels the poison enter through his scaly skin. "I am sure that you will find someone else... someone worthy of your love..." Strife would whisper as he lets her go and turns towards the chieftan. "No need to thank us... I think we will probably just get our captain and then continue on our way towards the volcano then...." The kobold would say clutching his stomach after putting his hat back on his head... the poison flowing through his veins causing his insides to feel like they were on fire.
Feng will grab the dead Terror's body with his mouth and toss it in between the group and the Chieftain. He'll then revert back to goblin form and smile. "Terror dead, food for days!" He'll look around nervously before asking. "You make skin into hat for us?" He'll ask while pointing to himself as he says us. "We wants tiger hat." He'll say smiling.
Strife would shuffle over to Feng "I would love to stay and celebrate and everything too but remember that thing... that we left behind... remember......" The kobold would whisper into the goblins ear, sure to be turned away from the grung. "That thing we left alone while we came back here to the village... Reldos... remember..." Strife would whisper even quieter before letting out a loud caugh and spitting up some bile on to the forest floor. "I am fine! Just... not feeling great!" Strife would mutter as he holds a hand up towards the grung and his companions.
Feng would look toward Strife and grin. "Yes!" He'll shout before stopping realizing he shouldn't of shouted, then he'll turn toward the Chieftain. "We busy, we get captain and poof!"
OOC: Thats a good idea, but I figured since I'm leaving tiger here, they could do it while we're gone.
"If we are allowed to rest, I would be willing to help out around the village for a short time. Do you... need any holes dug... dirt moved? Maybe something set on fire?" The kobold would ask the chieftain as he struggled to stand up straight as his insides churned from the poison.
(I don't care, I just figured if we were going to stay Strife would try to make better friends / impress the ladies :D but I am totally fine with leaving since I was trying to convince Feng that we couldnt stay from the beginning)

Seldor doesn't feel like dealing with the princess at all, so he's going to have them just tell them that he died.

Feng, perhaps Vappa can fashion a Tiger hat for you with his Cunning Artisan Racial Trait?
"Yeah I don't think we can hang out here too long we need to get going probably..." Susanne says.
Feng would look toward Strife and grin. "Yes!" He'll shout before stopping realizing he shouldn't of shouted, then he'll turn toward the Chieftain. "We busy, we get captain and poof!"

(As far as hats go, the other tiger wasn't a charred crisp :D)
Vappa will try to make a helm for Feng.
Feng will look toward chieftain and ask if we can rest till morning, assuming its night since we didn't wait.
I don't have a signature.
"If we are allowed to rest, I would be willing to help out around the village for a short time. Do you... need any holes dug... dirt moved? Maybe something set on fire?" The kobold would ask the chieftain as he struggled to stand up straight as his insides churned from the poison.
So as a party, do you guys want to stay the night in the Grung Village or get back to Seldor and find someplace farther away to camp for the night?
(I don't care, I just figured if we were going to stay Strife would try to make better friends / impress the ladies :D but I am totally fine with leaving since I was trying to convince Feng that we couldnt stay from the beginning)
