Caerlan wears his leather armour easily, showing it to be a normal part of his appearance, the rapier at his hip sits comfortably too, his movement never impaired by the blade. A dagger visible in one boot top seems to be his only other weapon but nobody could be sure.
"Investigating what we have in front of us seems a good start, unless they've kindly left us a set of instructions, shall we look for anything like that?"

Kat barely looks different at all, wearing no armor, and her only weapons a long dart across her back and some sort of sling-like attachment to her horn. She nods, most of the excitement back in her step. "I can see if any are magical, but it'll take eleven minute per bottle and I don't know if anybody has a way to cut down on that-like figuring out if any of them are magical to start with."
OOC: Offering to cast identify on each bottle, but suggesting we use Investigation or detect magic to find out which are magical beforehand. She'll do that if I'm not here when we find out which are magical.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As kat and Caerlan begin their rituals, Golver would walk around them "This is taking forever, I'll tell ya what is in some of these bottles!" The dragonborn would say as he begins picking up the bottles and swirling their contents around and then shaking the contents of some of them while examining them closely. If the bottle doesn't explode after being shaken, The dragonborn would pull out his magnifying glass and examine the contents as well as the bottles closely for any labels or markings that might indicate their contents.
Golver inspection! (I will roll twice in case I get advantage from the magnefying glass but if I don't just use the first one :D) 74
Detect magic creates a faint glow behind where the door disappeared and the same faint outline within a magically hidden doorway ahead. There are no disease or poison either. Golver's magnifying glass yields nothing. The first bottle it looks shimmer but he does find a piece of parchment on the table written in common:
Danger lies before you, while safety lies behind, Two of us will help you, whichever you would find, One among us seven will let you move ahead, Another will transport the drinker back instead, Two among our number hold only nettle wine, Three of us are killers, waiting hidden in line. Choose, unless you wish to stay here forevermore, To help you in your choice, we give you these clues four: First, however slyly the poison tries to hide You will always find some on nettle wine's left side; Second, different are those who stand at either end, But if you would move onward, neither is your friend; Third, as you see clearly, all are different size, Neither dwarf nor giant holds death in their insides; Fourth, the second left and the second on the right Are twins once you taste them, though different at first sight.
OOC: Try NOT to use the internet. Also NO blanket investigations. You'll get no advantage with the magnifying glass. You'll need to investigate each bottle individually. But identify is the only way you'll be able to discern the contents.
Golver would read the parchment aloud before letting out a frustrated growl, tossing the paper towards Kat as he puts the bottle back down where he found it. "Welp, I guess we just start drinking them and see what happens... " The dragonborn would say as he looks over the potions in front of him as he taps his clawed finger against his chin.

Kat grins. "Puzzle! Okay, so three are poison, two are helpful, one is the right answer, and two are just wine. The biggest and the littlest aren't poison. If we figure out which are wine, the ones on the left of each wine one is poison. The ones at the end are two different solutions, but neither are the onwards one. And the second left and second right are the same thing. So we should start by figuring out which one is the second left, and then we'll know what's on the second right too!" She starts casting identify as a ritual on the second bottle to the left. "Nobody mess up the order, please."
Kat points at the bottle she was identifying. "That one's wine. Which means the second one to the right's wine too. And the ones to the left of each of those are poison!"
golver will move to the bottle that she said was wine and open it before taking a deep long swig. "You better be right about this" The dragonborn would say as he dumps the liquid down his throat.
"So we have two if the poisons identified, both wines, of these last three one is good one is poison and one sets us back." Caerlan ponders the remaining three bottles, That last one isnt what we want, and the middle one, the smallest isn't poison - Kat can you cast identify on the centre one, I think it might answer our questions."

After his long swig of wine, the dragonborn would place the two bottles of wine in his pack. "Allow me to clear the table of the wrong choices" Golver would say with a smile. Once the bottles of wine are in his pack, he would pick up the two bottles of poison and place one of them in his pack while un-corking the other and pouring its contents on to the blade of his longsword. "No reason to waste perfectly good poison!" The dragonborn would say with a smile.

"Don't be moving things around until we get this all figured out,"Necey scolds Golver. "Now," she points to the one in the middle, "That one will either take us back, or forward, but it shouldn't be poison."She then picks up three bottles ( 1, 5, 7), places them on the ground and removes the stoppers. "Okay, going to try something new here,"she says with a tinkle in her eye. "Don't freak out... when I change."The halfling steps back and she goes down on all-fours, coarse reddish-gray hair sprouting out as she does so. Now a wolf, Necey pads over to each bottle and gives each a sniff.

OOC: Yes.
The fourth is the smallest bottle. All the bottles however are made of green glass but different designs and styles.
