But we persevered... until pitted against one another." He looks back. "It is tradition we goliaths take on a name that would mark us for the rest of our life. Of a notable feat, such as Rocbreaker or Stonesmith... Someone in the crowd knew of this. Found it amusing to dub me Stonethroat for the way I... I ended up killing the last of my brothers with me that day." Orilo's eyes start to grow misty, but all tears are sniffed back before pressing on with a forced grin.
"Since then it has been one thing after another. I earned my freedom, but could not allow myself to return. So I wandered until I grew hungry. Joined a gang of highwayman. Then an army upon being captured and given the 'choice'. Left as soon as my sentence was up and became Cook. Then I met-..."His voice catches, and after a moment's pause he shakes himself. "Met a woman... had a daughter and...." Orilo clears his throat, and shoots Stone Cutter a glare for looking back at him. "And finally became a sword for higher."
Orilo listens to the others, but with varying degree of focus. None of which were enough to read too much into Winter's story at the moment, or realize Elya never answered his question. But he hears, and may have had something to say, but-...

Winter's eyebrows furrow just as her eyes dart from person to person, making mental note of just how many people there were in the battlefield before she herself was surrounded by a group of druid and friends. She slips out her dagger from its scabbard on her thigh and takes a breath before striking forth at the big boy coming for her, planning to get rid of him first before he does anything crazy.

Now aid my friend so she can whip some ass!" Winter awakens to the sound of giggling from all about her as a tingling sensation rushes across her body and her wounds heal a bit. Corrin then darts backward, placing Stone Eater between himself and the oncoming attackers. Looking at the closest berserker, he calls down a sacred flame upon it.
"Winter! Hang in there!"Orilo shouts as Stone Cutter charges one of the Druids in Winter's Group. As for the goliath, he wastes no further time as he continues his charge at the bramble entangled druids, aiming to smash heads. Except as he approaches the skeletal wings explode from his back as black pits for eyes make themselves known again. "Behold, worshipper of darkness! And tremble to your very core!"
