Skipping back as the shambling mound, well, shambles forward, Corrin pulls a sling from his belt, loading a stone and letting it fly. "Gods, this thing is creepy! But it is slow. Perhaps we attack it from a distance!"

Anborn tosses another Sacred Flame at the Mound. "Just die already."

DC13 Dex Save or take 5 points of damage.

Again, the paladin neatly side-stepped another blow right into the path of another. But this time he was bit more ready for the follow-up. His shield arm is still battered away, and something pops from the blow. "I felt... harder punches--Gah!... from Valandris." He taunts, popping his arm back into place mid-speech. [action]Dodge;Readying[/spell] his shield once more, Orilo flips it the bird with his other hand. "Come on, filth!"

Action: Defensive Maneuvers.

”Cmon, cmon, you can do this.”

"I don't like this thing! Anyone got any big tricks up their sleeve? Because I think it's time to use it!" For the moment, the only trick up his sleeve is the one he's been using.

Anborn sees the direction the battle is currently going in. ******* hell. We can hardly hit this thing and when we do, it just keeps on going like nothing happened. Meanwhile this thing crushed Elya and is going to crush the big guy before long. Let's cut our losses and get out of here before we become the newest ghosts to wander this house. "**** this! Let's get out of here before this shit pile kills us all!" He leads the group through the basement before running into the bladed doors. "Of course this house would actively try to keep you in here. Corrin, you're pretty dexterous. Can you see if you can't find a way through for us?" And Anborn will Help the small halfling get through the trap and then cast Guidance to give him some additional aid in getting out.

Corrin gulps a bit at seeing the blades in the doorway, then steadies himself as a smile crosses his face. He clutches his amulet, raising it to his lips for a quick kiss while muttering, "Lucky Ghost, don't fail me now." He then watches the blades, timing his move to dart between the blades to the other side where attempts to disarm the deadly door.

After Corrin leads the group through the first trap, Anborn will Help Corrin get through the second trap and cast Guidance on him to help him get through the last one.

Ledanra will take a parting shot at the mound, casting a firebolt, her confidence bolstered by her last hit. Then take flight with Anborn and Corrin. "Maybe we can run it into a few of these traps, or take pot shots from the other side if we xan get it to follow."

"Perhaps. We could also just torch the house and let this thing die in the wreckage."

Song considers for a second to fire another shot... but decides to run with the rest. He'll keep concentration on Hex just in case until they're out of danger.

Corrin kisses his amulet and again darts through the trap.

"We can't just leave and let this thing stay alive. It's dangerous, someone might stumble upon it and get hurt... cmon guys......."

With her protests dying fast, she allows herself to be lead out of the death house, looking back upon the monster one last time before leaving.

"We need not flee entirely, but regrouping seems a wise move considering how the fight was going! Let us find an advantage that we may leverage."

"I was only half-joking when I suggested that we burn this hell-house and leave it inside there. Not only will we kill the damn thing, we'll also ensure that no one is ever lured to this evil home again. And if I wasn't inclined on leaving this land as soon as possible, I'd salt the earth that this house was built on as well."

Seeing the creatures roar turn part of the ceiling into pinning pile atop it, Orilo takes his chance to retreat after the others. "Won't hold for-..." Even without the trip to the eyes, the pause alone speaks volumes as the man looks up to the spinning blades of death ahead. He musters what resolve he can mutely resolves to help Song get through the traps by readying to catch a blade on his shield if one comes too close.
