Dust and cobwebs shroud an elegantly appointed bedroom and an adjoining nursery. Double doors set with panes of stained glass pull open to reveal a balcony overlooking the front of the house. The bedroom contains a large bed, two end tables, and an empty wardrobe. Mounted on the wall next to the wardrobe is a full-length mirror with an ornate wooden frame carved to look like ivy and berries.
There is an undead presence in this room. You can feel it in your bones, in your soul.

An undead ghostly specter crashes through the doors leading to the nursery and screams a horrible cry that rattles your bones - it appears as a terrified, skeletally thin young woman. It attacks!
Spectre: 22
So here's our first combat. Everyone who wants to fight rolls for initiative, and i'll post a "marching order" of initiative. This combat will be easy, there's only one enemy - but I let players in the same "block" make their move at their leisure, then those in the next "block" can go. A block is interrupted when it's a monsters turn. Let me know if this doesn't make sense. This is the part where you REALLY don't want to make nat1s. I have a special crit table I LOVE to use when that happens.

Orilo's Initiative: 7.
Orilo had been almost immediately distracted by the black armor at the top. So, he hadn't followed the others all that closely, or even remembered to warn the others about the undead prescence... until it was too late. Again, to his credit, he shook out of marveling at the latest set of armor at the outcry from Elya rather quickly, and took out his flail with a muttered, "Ah, Shite."
"I came as--"Orilo stops both midsentence and mid-poking his head underneath the door sill in time to see the fade away(if even that). He gives everyone gathered there a quick glance over for injuries, opened his divine senses again with a few sniffs at the air, then nods to others. "Good... Good job." He pulls back out on a tired sounding sigh and makes his way back to guarding the stairs.
Once folk started filing out of the room, they would notice Orilo intently staring off towards the northern bedroom."'nother prescence."He points to the bedroom. "Undead. Probably Ghost."He folds back his arms together with a grumble. "Not sure mood. Yet."He looks to Corrin or Anborn depending on who happened to be out of the room first. "Still seek death?"
Corrin looks to Anborn, offering a quick fist bump.
“That combo worked well, but I can only summon so many of those divine bolts without a rest...which may prove tricky to get in this cursed place. Perhaps we take turns using them here on out. I fear we will find more than a few of the restless dead in both this house and all of this land.”

((Sorry guys, combat largely happened whilst I was asleep for the night. @ Crispy - if things are moving quickly in combat, I'm happy for you to put an initiative roll in for Ledanra and take an action - probably 'cast cantrip at monster'... If combat gets that far of course.))
"Well, it's good to see our clericss are well versed in banishing the undead from our midsst! Orilo, if you feel a presence ahead, maybe you are best to lead us in. You might get to do something with that weapon then." The last is said with a lighter tone to her voice, what most would have perceived to be Ledanra's limited attempts at humour.
"I prefer clearing the floor of possible dangers before we start searching rooms out for secrets."

Orilo lets out a harsh sounding chuckle. "Maybe. But not effective."There is a moments pause in which he seems to truly contemplate the suggestion. In the end, despite the claim Orilo cracks his back on his way towards the aforementioned room without a word of complaint. Though if someone decide(d/s) to rush ahead, it is no skin of the goliaths back for once. For what little good will a good sword do against a spirit?

Anborn's going to cast Guiding Bolt and toss it at the spectre. And he's going to toss Inspo in there, because it can **** off to hell.
Attack: 20 Damage: 14
And the next attack made gets advantage if it connects
