Upon regaining consciousness Titus will groan a bit before standing up, rearming himself with his axe, and using his lay on hands ability to restore 15 hit points to himself.
Seeing the carriage crash in the distance, he begins to move to the scene hoping to help his allies recover the stone.
(If he is still poisoned then 5pts of lay on hands will go to removing the poison and the other 10 to HP)
(Titus gets all 15 HP. The infernal wound closed when the berry was fed to him.)
Titus, 300 feet away from the cab, starts running down the street.
Morph:
Morph, hovering over the crowd, sees the tiefling disappear into the crowd running south. When he casts his spell, he sees the glowing hue of magic suddenly going the other way. Craning his neck, he sees a filthy young boy run underneath his broom clasping the stone. The boy hands it off to a girl, who opens a sewer grate and disappears down into it.
The bearded devil stands up and attacks Laniel, anger in his eyes now.
Both strikes land, but the devil is not down yet. It is looking very haggard, however, and Lanielsenses it is nearing its end. He strikes out with his fist.
Unarmed Attack: 11 Damage: 6
The devil wobbles to the side, dodging the blow. Then Lanielreaches into his last reserves and strikes twice more, punching then snapping a kick at the devil's ribs.
Unarmed Attack: 9 Damage: 8
Unarmed Attack: 8 Damage: 8
His strikes were perfect, fast and strong, but the devil was too fast, staying out of reach.
Meanwhile, down the street, a half-elf comes storming out of the crowd. "You little dung piles!" he screams. It isn't clear who he is yelling at, exactly. The tiefling is nowhere to be seen.
Morph quickly assesses the situation, before deciding on a discrete course of action.
He turns to Mal and points a finger at him, uttering another arcane phrase. Morph then silently mouths words that only Mal can hear.
"Mal, I think some street urchins may have just robbed our thief, I just saw the stones magical glow, in the hands of a young girl who jumped down, that sewer grate."
Morph tries to point discreetly at the open sewer grate, for Mal to see, but so it is not obvious to the crowed, and the shouting half-elf in particular.
Morph continues to hover over the crowed, pretending to still be looking for the tiefling, but watching the half-elf, to see if he goes for the sewer or not.
Mal responds "The Tiefling changed! He's an elf - the elf. You say the stones went into the sewer? I'll follow them- you keep up!"
With that, Mal sprints towards the sewer grate, making sure to make eye contact with the shouting half elf as he drops below. (Use my action as flavor to affect a safe drop into the sewers - dash may be necessary based on distance to cover).
Dropping into the sewer, Malis immediately overcome by the stench. The recent heatwave has cooked the stagnant sewer water, making it nearly impossible to breathe. As his eyes adjust, he doesn't immediately see any people. A shriek up ahead suggests the direction, however, and trudging that way leads quickly to a rusty iron door set into the wall above a dry, 1-foot-wide stone ledge. The door’s lock corroded long ago, and the door squeals loudly on rusty hinges when opened.
(While in the sewer, the stench is so bad that Malis poisoned, resulting in disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks.)
After leaving the stench zone (presumably through the door), Mal will use his racial trait to cast lesser restoration on himself, removing the poisoned debuff.
Walking through the door does NOT reduce the stench. Immediately on the other side are three street urchins who scream upon seeing Malstep through the door, clearly startled at his arrival. They don't fight or run. The eldest one, a clearly terrified girl with tears streaming down her face, speaks in a halting breathless and disjointed manner that is difficult to follow.
"She attuned to it, that green rock," says one of the younger boys.
"It's alive!" she says.
When asked where it is, the other younger boy says, "She dropped it. Back there."
Mal takes a full minute to demonstrate his command of every curse word he has ever heard in his life, including those in languages he does not speak but has heard spoken in portside taverns. He breaks off his tirade to tell the children "Stay here. I'm going to get the stone. I can help you - help her - if you want." He carefully walks down the corridor, searching for the stone. He will cast light on his rapier, providing enough of a glow to see the surrounding area. He immediately goes back to cursing, mostly under his breath as he also tries to listen for the half-elf in case he tries to follow into the sewer.
Mal detects movement from down the sewer. It is only Titus, followed by Rethan, Morph, and finally Laniel. All are covering their mouths and noses, helpless against the rotten cooked smell of stagnant sewage. The four newcomers find Mal talking to three terrified urchins, about to embark further into the cellar complex that opens up through the rusty metal door that he is standing in.
"It's that way," one of the younger boys says, pointing down a short hallway. "No doors. Just turn right."
The directions are simplified, but good enough for the group to wind their way into a large open room.
In the large room they see it is largely empty, except for the Stone of Golorr sitting under a plain wooden rocking chair in the center of the room. "Where'd that rocking chair come from?" says one of the boys, clearly sneaking along behind the group to see what they were going to do.
(FYI, Rethan, Titus, and Lanielcan all heal again. HOWEVER, the stench in the sewers and cellar complex here are SO bad that everyone suffers disadvantage on attack and skill check rolls.)
Morph spins around in the air, as the tiefling stops the Cab and bounds off into the crowd.
Morph flies over the crowd, having lost sight of the tiefling for moment, in all the hubbub going on.
"Where did he go? Dam it! We can't lose him!"
Morph flicks his wrist in an odd gesture and utters an arcane phrase, his eyes once again begin to glow faintly blue, as the magic takes effect.
Move: 50ft after the Cab, and then over the crowed.
Action: Cast Detect Magic; trying to find the stone's magical glow, if it is within 30ft.

(Laniel and Rethan are up next.)
Seeing Titus head for the carriage, Rethan spins back to help Laniel finish off the bearded devil, slashing out with his glaive.
Attack: 13 Damage: 5
Attack: 23 Damage: 8

Titus does not sense any fiends, fey, or celestials, except for the bearded devil fighting Rethan and Laniel.
Speaking of which, the bearded devil retaliates against (2) Laniel, striking at him with his beard.
Beard Attack: 23 Damage: 5
Laniel strikes back with two rapid punches.
Punch Attack: 15 Damage: 7
Punch Attack: 25 Damage: 5
One punch lands but it still isn't enough to put the devil down.
(Rethan is up next.)
Rethan swings his glaive at the bearded devil, twirling it to jab at at the fiend with the butt.
Glaive Attack: 24 Damage: 12
Glaive butt Attack: 20 Damage: 8
His first attack does the job, slashing through the devil's tough hide. It falls to the ground, unable to take any more.
(Combat has ended. The tiefling has disappeared and all the imps and the bearded devil are finally dead.)
(It's only been 12 hours since you said it was my turn, I'm actually around this time!!!! :P. Not that I would have done anything different.)
Rethan heads towards where Mal, Morph and Titus went.
Mal takes a full minute to demonstrate his command of every curse word he has ever heard in his life, including those in languages he does not speak but has heard spoken in portside taverns. (Sorry! Just wanted to finish that damned devil off and move on to the next bit. He only had 2 HP left! Response to Mal in 45 minutes.)

"Just sitting right out in the open, waiting for us," Rethan mutters. "No way THIS is a trap..."
(FYI, Rethan, Titus, and Laniel can all heal again. HOWEVER, the stench in the sewers and cellar complex here are SO bad that everyone suffers disadvantage on attack and skill check rolls.)
Laniel turns to the boy. "What do you mean you haven't seen that chair before?"
The boy just shrugs.
"Some weird effect of the stone, maybe?"
"Maybe," says the other boy. "That thing is alive."
